I don't understand the love for Louis-Philippe Guindon. I'm not a big Cadorette guy but I can at least understand the appeal for some fans.

I won't mind to see Bell and Pelletier go but the return would have to be good. Maybe To Drummondville: Bell, 1st rnd (Dru) and a 3rd rnd To Cape Breton: Joey Ratelle and Louis-Philip Guindon Also To Rimouski: Julien Pelletier To CB: Simon Bourque, 3rd pick 2016 and 4th pick 2015. Thoughts? Drummondville won't touch the first trade and you get hosed in the second.

I'm not so sure Guindon is worth as much as some think. I don't think there's a lot of teams willing to pay that much to get him. Cadorette, I think is better but I would never put Dubois in any deal. I think regardless of any, if any, goalie they acquire the real need continues to be for at least another 19 year old solid dman. Not really sure who's available. I think the consensus is definitely don't trade Dubois.

I want a goaltender.
Fitzpatrick would be my first choice. I would be calling Sherbrooke. It may be a quick conversation but I would have Pellitier and Dubois on the table anf probably everything else.
I would be willing to give up assets for Booth as well.
I would not want to spend heavy on any 19 year old at this point I do not like the risk of loosing assets on a short term rental for this years club.
I would be looking for a LH D man to pair with Leveille. I would want to use one of our present LH D packaged with a pick to do this

I also doubt that Cape Breton would trade a pile of assets to acquire a 17 year old starter in a potential go for it year. There is definitely some risk in acquiring a 19 year old, and losing him for next year.

Has it been confirmed that the Eagles are buying?

Thoughts? They traded into the 1st round to get Bell. Other then a few fans frustrated in watching him develop at a pace that has been just fine for others there has been zero indication that the team is anything but thrilled with his development to this point. They're not going to trade him for veterans.

Has it been confirmed that the Eagles are buying? Hard to 'confirm' something like that. Actions during the trade period tells us who are buyers, half the talk in the media is cliche'd anyway. We will know soon enough.

La population est d'accord avec ce que je dis, c'est certain Says here that the Drakkar will be sellers this trade period according to their GM.

Will make things interesting for sure.
If as reported we offered two 1st and two 2nds at the draft for Cadorette at the draft, I would not want to pay that much this time.

Might make things interesting sounds like they are going to deal some of the stars.Cadorette,Gregoire and St.Cyr would probably be of interest, depending on the cost.We could unload brassard and bring in St.Cyr to fill the vacant 20 year old spot.Wonder if they are interested in dealing Inmamba, tough 18 year old with a scoring touch Seems like the GM is throwing it out there to see what kind of offers he gets. They do not have a pick until the 4th round.

There is a report that Joseph Veleno could be granted exceptional status which will allow him to get drafted this year. If he does get granted this than Dumont should keep Drummondvilles pick. The pick would be the best shot at getting him.

The pick would be the best shot at getting him. There's no way of knowing that for sure. Right now that's the worse of the 3 picks we have. If you wanted the kid all you really have to do is don't trade any of the picks. Go into the draft with the assets you have now and you'll walk away with whatever player you want.
