If Dubois gets dealt Dumont should be fired unless he is involved in a big deal that brings in a big name player BC Dubois IMO will be one of the best players in the league in the next two years. He's a big body for 16 with offensive skill I wouldn't be so eager to trade that away if I was them.

No it sucks when people with no opinions sit back and try to discredit those that aren't scared to have one. That's the be all and end all of any discussion between you and I. You refuse to let it go though. Everyone sees it. They come out in every thread and ask us to let it go....you just have some issues in doing so apparently. ___________ <--There is where your last words can go since we all know you have to have it.Then we'll see if you can listen to the requests and let things go. I mean i'm game to continue the back and forth with someone with 700 posts worth of lol's and non-opinions and why having opinions before Christmas is stupid but everyone who comes here for insight is sick of the act and has requested in every thread for you and I to move on. You're wrong a lot Last word is yours friend. Happy Holidays. Yet you prove me right along the way and refuse to see it. My point is made. Thanks for coming out.

I'm not sure why it's such a hot topic, are there trade rumors out there i'm not hearing? If the 17th placed team starts trading its best 16yr olds I think there's a lot more issues then just a shitty GM. Dubois isn't going anywhere.

His name was mentioned in an earlier post and a mock trade I do believe. I haven't really heard anything otherwise I just think it would be silly for them to do so. I think they will be buyers and trade away a few guys that will help them acquire decent assets. I still think they will need help in goal BC Brassard is not going to carry them. If they were to trade brassard and acquire a younger goalie and then fill the vacant 20 yr old spot with a good defenseman or a solid forward I could see that being the best move

That scenario now is a lot different.

Preferably a goalie to play into next year and a cheap 20 to show some guidance to our youth on the back end. We certainly have the assets to be involved in those discussions.

Hopefully that Dubois trade rumor that came out a couple of weeks ago is just that, a rumor. I don't think he'll be traded. He is already a top six forward, and is one of the few with high potential to someday play in the NHL. His contribution to the team over the next two years, let alone his trade value at 19, would make him untouchable to me. Guys like Dubois put people in the seats.

I laughed at you at first but I'm thinking you might have a serious problem. You constantly respond to a conversation that only happened in your head even when quotes show otherwise. I can't tell if you're delusional or think posters on here are stupid. Hopefully that Dubois trade rumor that came out a couple of weeks ago is just that, a rumor. I don't think he'll be traded. I don't think we have to worry about a Dubois trade. He's been one of the best 16 year olds in the Q and should be a big part of the club for the next 3.5 years. He definitely made me eat my words from draft day. Dumont has only had 2 drafts but he & his scouts have done a pretty good job, it could get interesting if they keep the bulk of the picks for this coming draft.

Everyone else has moved on and ignored the entire conversation and you won't let it go and think i'm the one with the serious problem. Do everyone a favor and attack me via private messages if you must do so. Just stop ruining all these threads with it.

Norris --- You are the one that brought this crap back up... Joke or no joke.
There is no need for that.
Since I am on here I will offer my Judge Judy 2 cents.
Jack did note that we have to go for it because we have Svechnikov and got Darcy back. I agree that was a spare of the moment decision and a bit too quick on the trigger.
However , he clarified that you can still go in and not sell the entire farm. To make the team better for this year and next year.
He also noted that GM's have a basic idea of what they are going to be doing well before Christmas.
Base has to be touched with GM's way before otherwise no productive trades will even be completed.
The ultimate decision is made in December but the estimates and calling around the league etc is made well before.

I enjoy being taken to task and having the discussion. Beating the dead horse however, is pointless. At this point the horse is so dead it's a myth, so other then to attack me personally, i'm at a loss for the overall attitude from him. To each their own I suppose.

It's easy to attack you knowing you are holed up in a Russian prison in the barren wastelands of Siberia.

The ultimate decision is made in December but the estimates and calling around the league etc is made well before. He ridiculed me after posts on completely different subjects for weeks because I didn't buy into the 'go for it' mob when Darcy was sent down, if I want to make jokes about it, I will, thank you very much. I kept saying that anything could happen before the trade window opened and it will influence the decisions being made in December and he acted like I was saying horses have 12 legs, speak french, and ride bears to work at Sobeys. If he can't accept that he was wrong, take jokes about it, and laugh it off, that's his problem. If CB was going into this deadline near the top of the standings with the goal of buying for back to back years of contention, I wouldn't be desperately trying to flip what was said 2 months ago lol he simply would have been right. Your last few points were never argued then, now, or any point in the middle lol see my quote from Oct. 9th. JB refuses to accept that and I find it hilarious every time he tries to act like that was the main point argued back in October when it's never been argued once. Frankly I didn't think it was possible for that joke to start the back-n-forth again. 2 months ago he was trying to force me to decide if I think CB should or should not go for it and now a couple days before the trade window he said "Wait to see the trades and that will dictate the direction." I kind of figured he was finally accepting he jumped the gun 2 months ago, along with many others. I guess I was wrong.
