just wishing Ivan a good game today against the swedes, and wondering if he would be back in time for Thursday's game against the sea dogs.

He will be as the tournament ends tomorrow but they will most likely give him a week to go home.

He will be as the tournament ends tomorrow but they will most likely give him a week to go home. I would have thought his family would have been here for the WJC. I doubt he will go back to Russia for a week. Not much of a rest 7 days when you would battle jet lag 2 days on each end of the trip. He is a gamer and my guess is that he will be in the line-up thursday.

Give him credit he has played very very well for Russia. Takes all the key face offs, kills penalties, stands in front of the net on the pp. I really enjoyed watching his game this week against the best of his age. A bit more puck luck he would have scored another 5 goals as well. I think St? Louis fans will be pleased with him in the future.
Of course if Canada beats the Slovaks...I will be anti Barbashev for about 3 hours tomorrow.
