You guys needed defense and goaltending all season.......you got a great goaltender and picked up 2 of the best dmen in the Maritimes in this trade period...Eagles looked the best I've seen them in a couple years.

Nobody seems interested when I post about this but I'm going to keep doing it anyway. That goal by Farrell ties him with Noel for 4th on the all time goal scoring list with 92. Asselin (121), Ouellet (107), MacNeil (99) are still in front of him. He'll beat MacNeil and he's on pace to beat Ouellet. It makes it even more impressive considering he's a local boy and played his first few seasons with a horrible team. Definitely an Eagle to remember. Such a hard worker and earns every point he gets.

Right now the bar set so you have to be a #1 pick Stanley Cup Champion with an Olympic Gold Medal to get honored by the team lol

A shutout, how long has it been since we've seen one of those? Genuinely curious if anyone knows.
6/6 points since the trade period.

Some thoughts about tonight:
Dubois is unreal as a 16 year old. He is just flying out there. He's quickly developing a dynamic offensive game and its fun to watch. Dubois will be scary good these next few years. We came out as winners of the Nic Roy deal already. I'd argue Dubois is better than Roy right now.
Beaudin is a great find in the 2nd round too, I hope he can push out Nosella when MacIntyre returns. He could be a really good player, but I don't see him as an Eagle next year unless he pushes out MacIntyre.
Sullivan played really well tonight.
I can't believe we got Anderson for a 12th. He's great. Good offensive skills and works hard, can't ask much more from a 20 year old.
Leblanc is exactly what we needed, a steady two-way prescence. He moves the puck well and makes no mistake doing it.
