I'd love to see them keep the scoring going like they have been.

awesome! maybe Dumont will keep the lines a bit more consistent now....lol I have a point to make on 'line juggling' in the hopes that it gets through to some of you who keep complaining about it: If Dumont did no line juggling Dubois would be our 4th line / extra forward all season. Line juggling gives all players different opportunity to show what they can do with different teammates. We've had contending seasons where our lineup didn't stabilize until a month or 2 before the playoffs and even then things still changed based on circumstance. There are a lot of positives that always seem to get ignored when it comes to that topic.

I agree, JB, but what I keep hearing from people on here is that he changes them by the period, or by the shift. If something doesn't work for a game or two, or at least a period or two, then change things. Have to give players a chance to mesh. Not going to work right away. I'm not against changing lines. I haven't attended games or listened enough to know who plays with who, so I'm unfortunately basing it on commentary from here.

Do we know how they practice? Set lines every day? Different lines every day? If I showed up to practice 4 times and had 4 sets of line mates then in a game i'll be a bit more comfortable with change. But if I practiced all week with Farrell and come game time I was on the 4th line i'd be puzzled. It's never as simple as the coach just changing the lines though. It's the expectation he sets for his players. I have no issue with in game changes, assuming we're preparing for that in practice. Like yourself I have not attended enough live games to really notice the juggling.

Congratulations to him on being the CHL player of the week. He may not have been the "dominant" player some hoped for this year but he sure has been very, very good. His talent is obvious but I very much like the commitment he shows to the game. Of note, he is the highest plus player on the team of the players that have been here all year!

Just to throw another thought into the constant line juggling. The team hasn't stayed healthy enough to keep lines together. They have been constantly shifted to try and balance out the line-up.

very few lines stay together in hockey anymore
most teams rely on duos and then rotate different options thru in the 3rd spot
starts from the NHL right on down

Hopefully he keeps it up & continues it into the NHL, a star Russian import is a recruiting tool CB could really really really use.
His brother is apparently a 2000 born Russian superstar in the making.

Svech played well. One of Team Cherry's better forwards.
