The fact that Svechinov was on the 2nd line really has me worried about the relationship between Svechinov and Cherry. I hope to god that since Svechnikov was on the 2nd line that him and Cherry are able to patch their relationship. The last thing we need is for Cherry and Svechinov to not get along...

yes but there was one shift where Svechnikov was clearly wide open and Sprong didn't pass him the puck

The fact that Svechnikov is European is more than enough for Don Cherry not to like him. I have to take whatever Cherry says with a grain of salt anyway, the only reason he still has a job with hockey night in Canada is strictly for entertainment purposes. He's a quack.

I would not call him a quack. He just has an old way of thinking. I cannot really fault him on that.He is old you know.
Also , being Russian would be on a whole other level than European though with Cherry. Being Russian would be Don Cherrys #1 reason to dislike.
