Last time I checked Kyle Haas was playing for the Woodstock Slammers. It appeared that Roger Shannon felt that he could do better than Haas with the 3 20 year-olds. Yeah, well maybe Shannon should back up and re-evaluate. I think the thought process was that TT was going to give us more. We have zero toughness. Then after getting wiped up we do a little dog and pony tough man show after the whistle. OF the 3rd period! Why not after 4 goals and maybe wake the team up? Did you watch the game? The only reason they lost, it's the lack of speed and hockey sens! When you play a fast team, you gotta know what you gonna do with the puck before you get it! That's called being one play ahead, and it's hockey sens! Did you see how armada was moving the puck and their feet in the offensive zone!? We can't even keep the puck in controle for more than 5 seconds! What toughness would bring to our team?

By the sounds of it, we're putting in a much better effort tonight. This is the game I want the most from the roadtrip.

How does Fucale get 3rd star in a 3 - 2 loss with 18 shots against only 8 of which where considered dangerous?

Dubeau won this one. I'll say, 43-18 shots against, Quebec must be giving their heads a shake over that one. But whatever, should give Cats a good feeling against RIM tomorrow. If they can pull a win out tomorrow, that sends a good message to the league........

Another rough night on defense for the Cats...6 goals against in 35 minutes. -5 for Garland and Barbashev on the heels of getting torched by the martel line in BBA.
They'll need a big comeback...

I'm not saying it's Rioux's fault, I just checked the score on the Q site but in a battle for first in the league, why is your backup starting when he's play more hockey in the last 48 hours than your starter? I know the plan was 31-31-30 all along but I would have called an audible when 31 only played 20 minutes in Friday.

they should keep Barbashev's line off this game. Barbashev's line is having a off night for sure but you don't play yr backup goalie vs 2nd best team in the league after your starter was Outstanding yesterday. I know it's 3 in 3 but Dubeau only played 1 period Friday, not like he played the entire game. DUMB DUMB DUMB Oh well at least they got 2 points.

Yeah ... several shots he just waved at. He didn't look good.

Yikes.... I thought this game was gonna be a lot tighter than that. Guess beating up the weaker teams in our own Maritime Division isn't gonna amount to much with 17 goals against us combined with huge shots on the net as well for this road trip. Just saying.

Rioux was given the start in front of his hometown crowd - bunch of family in attendance according to the announcer on 105.1.
