Not a bad night for the moose (or 2nd half) down 4 and coming back to tie it. Im interested to see if they got a video of the Gadoury hit?

Nice to see the boys fight back to get the point; Man don't go to the Cape Breton board a lot of whining over there about the officiating get used to it it's the Q. Ehler's is not a whiner, if they got called for hooking they probably hooked him and hi did not dive I hope the player that hit Gadoury is suspended if it's worth it.

No he is not a Diver ...........he just seems to fall down a lot when someone comes near him ! Probably the nicest skater in the Q though .

I have to agree, the officiating was bad yesterday......on both sides. It seemed like it started to get out of control after the Gadoury hit and the non-call. I had about six different people at the game ask me how much we paid the Refs? I told them apparently not enough....we're losing 4-0.
Heard a lot of Eagles fans complaining about Ehlers diving all over the place.....I have to say, he did seem to be on the ice a lot. Funny to hear the fans yelling "Hit him!" every time he touched the puck, the only problem with that was they couldn't catch him....what a great skater!
Nice little come back by the Moose, fell just a little short

can someone teach cb how to play with a lead? giving up a crucial point to the moose might come back and bite them in the ass.

Gadoury hit is it suspension worthy you be the judge? It looks to be a bit high but I don't think he hit him from behind and Dumont should worry about his own players stop commenting on our players. I hope Gadoury is okay to play in Quebec this weekend that they just took him out yesterday for pre-cautionary reasons. (Battle of NS is heating up I can't wait to get back to the rink in 2 weeks to see games gonna be heated) sportsandmoore.com/jacob-smith-hit-on-phil-gadoury-2/

Arm is around neck lvl.

Absolutely agree that the refereeing yesterday was terrible and probably contributed to some of the chippiness in the game. The refereeing was very inconsistent on both sides, calling a penalty on one team and then 5 minutes later the same play happens and no call? Very confusing to follow, must have been very frustrating and confusing for the players as well

Is it just me that does not really care if the Moose win. I would rather see them get a higher draft pick. Maybe I am shallow.

I don't think we will go far in the playoffs so finishing higher for the sake of maybe winning one round is not good in my opinion. I am not disappointed if we lose and I am constantly watching the scoreboard and the standings.

Glad I am not the only one. People say its not good for next years team to have a losing mentality this year. But if Ehlers does not come back this team is going to need to find their own way to win. Easier to do that with a very high Midget and Euro pick.

I am not disappointed if we lose and I am constantly watching the scoreboard and the standings. I've been reading a lot of comments over the past six weeks or so about the Mooseheads trading away players for picks and the future. I must say I am happy with the trades that were made and the return coming back. I understand the need to "reload" after a pretty good run the past three years. I just can't "wish" a team that I cheer for to lose. I see the reasoning for other fans wanting this to happen, but I just can't get myself over the thought of wanting to lose to Cape Breton, Moncton or God forbid, Bathurst! (Nothing against the town or fans, just 15ish years of not liking the team). With the collection of younger (16-17 year old)players on the team, I would rather the team remained competitive and win some games than lose consistently for 1 1/2 years. I think if the Mooseheads win a playoff series, or go seven games in a tight, playoff battle, it will do more for the younger players going forward than finishing lower in the standings and grabbing the 3rd or 4th overall pick instead of the 8th-10th pick we are going to get anyway. Just my opinion, but I'll be cheering for them to win.

Any news on how serious Gadoury's injury is and when he will be back?

Is it just me that does not really care if the Moose win. I would rather see them get a higher draft pick. Maybe I am shallow. I have mentioned it on here, but I think we will have to "live with" the fact that we're not going to be in the toilet this year, or next year. It basically hinges on Ehlers returning. If Ehlers returns, our team next year will be better than our team this year. But the year after that, we will be much worse. I am at peace with the fact that we're not going to tank this year, and probably not next year. Even though we'd love to tank and start this rebuilding process early, it isn't going to happen. So I'm hoping for us to win every game. It sounds like the high end of the 2015 draft isn't that strong, so there's no real sense in the Moose tanking to get a spot or two higher in the draft. Enjoy the talent we have and hope we can steal a round of the playoffs. Having a winning atmosphere will help our younger talent more than losing every game.
