I feel like I'm in a Toronto Maple Leafs fan forum, overthinking every little thing that happened during the game. Some peoples need a hobby, try knitting. Does it have to be Knitting ? Anything else you can think of ?

Anything else you can think of ? Only through knitting can you create a jersey which you then can toss onto the ice.

That is piddly stuff that can be straightened out in 2 minutes . They are both Rookies .....this is not a Vet and a High Profile 16 year old having a spat ..........it's 2 1st year players . Calling Svechnikov a rookie is a stretch. He may be a 1st year Q player but he's 18 with a ton of experience and is in his NHL draft year. Dubois was playing midget 12 months ago. Considering what the expectations are on Svechnikov, it's certainly not those of a rookie. So while officially the QMJHL may call him a rookie, comparing him to a 16yr old and saying they're 'both 1st year players' is completely ignoring the fact that he's 18 and in his draft year and therefore has much higher expectations then the 16yr old. If there was a spat between the 2, I'd consider it more of a vet and 16yr old having a spat then 2 1st year players. 1st year player is a useless term in this league because of how old the players are.

Can anyone else shed some light on why they think there's a beef between Dubois and Svechnikov ?

Just a rumour as we are not in the dressing room but if there is a problem hopefully the leadership on this team can straighten it out. No shortage of guys that can step up and play the make nice role.

One poster said there could be a problem between the two because Dubois didn't pass it to Svechnikov on one play.

One poster said there could be a problem between the two because Dubois didn't pass it to Svechnikov on one play. That's exactly what I was wondering. If Dubois apparently not passing Svechnikov the puck was the one and only reason for any speculation. If so that's just silly.

Guys guys guys It was just a thought may have read more than there was. But there are so many people on these blogs that i thought given that maybe someone had information on the subject or had experienced what i had which would have given some fact to what I felt happened OR I was in fact being silly. Sorry if that upset some posters.

Dubois was crazy good again tonight. Physically dominant at times.. and outsmarting most guys on the ice.. at 16. Here's a fun fact. During the Eagles' first season of 1997-98... he wasn't even born yet. Wasn't born until June of 98. How's that for making some of the veteran fans on here feel old?!

Dubois still has a legitimate shot at James Sheppards points record for a 16 year old rookie.aif he stays healthy,Dubois needs 5 points in 8 games.Good luck Pierre-Luc.
