Shawinigan in town tonight, with the way the Eagles are playing lately, should be a good game. If history means anything, we should see Sullivan in the nets. Don't know if Bishop is ready or not.

Hoping for another good effort from the boys tonight. I would say Sullivan in the nets tonight, although it will be interesting to see who he runs with. Have to think when playoffs get here we wont be going game for game. Maybe Belanger gets a 2nd straight start?
Lets go for another 2pts tonight. With a win tonight we can move into 12th spot. Bishop is out tonight and possibly the weekend.

Couldn't get in tonight but just checking the Q site, whats up with the C200 refs lately calling literally everything a penalty? Seems like the entire game is played on either a powerplay or penalty kill these days, makes for some pretty boring games in my opinion...
Edit: 8 mins left and down 3 goals, Shawi is probably one of them I would not want to play in the playoffs, Cupper is probably the best goalie in the Q when hes on.
Outshot them 16-5 in the 3rd period and they got 3 goals though...
Oh well, can't win them all.

Outworked and outplayed for the most part tonight, full marks to Shawinigan for the win. On another note (sour note) can someone please help me understand what this guy is doing with the goaltenders. This team in on a roll and playing quite well since January, in large part to the goaltender who was awarded the goaltender of the month award for January.Look at Sullivans numbers (red hot) and our brain trust decides to sit him, make sense to anyone? None to me.By the way, the old line juggling rared its ugly head again.Boy oh boy, what this team could accomplish with a coach.Just ridiculous IMHO.

The feel throughout the game just wasn't there . Even when the score was tied there just seem to be that thinking that it wasn;t meant to be , passes wern't clicking , bounces wern't going our way . You get games like that every now and again...........just "sucks more" when it is at home .

Incase you haven't noticed, we had 7 defensemen and 11 forwards so once and a while he'd put another winger with Brunelle and Tower. When Brunelle left he put Beaudin on the 4th line with Tower. Our PP lines are different then our even strength lines with Hinds - Svechnikov - Lazarev and Dubois - Farrell - Anderson with D pairings Gosselin and Leblanc - Lalonde - Leveille. Dumont has done a great job with the team so far in 2015. Even I called him a bad coach, but he's making me eat some crow.

If you think he wasn't juggling his lines, you must have been watching a different game than I was.For example, at times he had Svechnekov playing center, left wing and right wing and Jacob Smith and Colby tower were all over the place.I lost track of all the different line combinations.Even Stephen Anderson in a pre-game interview commented on how crazy the line juggling is.If you have converted and think he is a good coach, all the power to you.I think Ron Choules was the worst coach we ever had here and Dumont is nipping at his heels in second place.Just a thought, anyone know why he constantly plays 11 forwards and 7 defencemen while the norm is 12 and six. Check the game sheets and you will see what I mean. Maybe a reason for juggling his lines to give the 2 extra forwards and extra dman some ice time?

Eagles were on the receiving end a few bad bounces tonight but regardless they didn’t deserve to win last night. I’d like to see a practice sometime, from what I can tell they really don’t use a definitive PK unit. I started noticing it in the last game too. They had Svechnikov out with Hinds or Farrell and Dubois/Lazarev, and then rotated D…I don’t mind seeing the best players on the PK, but you have to wonder when practicing with their top PP units, who’s practicing on PK? PK has been nothing to complain about LATELY, but the goalies have been bailing them out on the PK too. I just don’t ever notice an obvious PK unit, usually a mixed bag of tricks.

They miss Bishop for the PK that's for sure... I think they're just trying to develop Svechnikov's defensive game a little bit and have a dangerous "offensive" duo in Farrell and Svechnikov. I would personally have Hinds/Anderson as the 2nd forward pair. Just boxscore watching but it seems like our 3rd line got victimized last night at even strength, probably gonna need some depth next year.

From what I've seen, Hinds/Martineau are our best PK duo up front. They also create offensive chances on the PK.

Interesting that the team lays an egg the game after we were discussing the general fans opinion of this team.
Not too many casual fans being too excited after a game like that.
The good thing is that we're now at a point where we can fairly expect a lot more from the group without being told what future assets we have. We've spent some of those assets to help this group and last nights game shows that we're still a ways away from the league champion we're looking for next year.

I've only ever seen Svechnikov at C in the PP to take the face off so I don't know what you're talking about there. And like I said, he rotates a top 9 player in with the 4th line, that's why you see Svechnikov playing on a different wing and Smith on different lines. I don't know what else you can really expect from Dumont. What do expect from a different coach? An extra win or 2? You're just looking for something to complain about
