Since nobody has posted anything I'll chime in.
This trip through Chi BC and Vic is nowhere near the "test" that the BBA Rim and Que one was but still a good test given how the Cats struggle on the road without the last change.
BC is a pretty good team, Chi is much improved since Jean has been there, Vic won't be a pushover. These are the type of teams the Cats will face in round 1.

Your commentary says it all being close to post-season so Cats know they have to win away games to go beyond first round. I think these games will be the real test as to how play-off hopes are achieved. Just saying! Prediction. Cats will get two out of three.

They can win just home games and get beyond Rd 2 actually ... assuming they hold on to 1st in the division. But I'd like to see them win on the road in the playoffs also ... no need play a full 7 game series.

Without looking at historical stats, my suspicion is that it may be easier to win on the road in the playoffs than it is during the regular season - travel becomes a wash, both teams have equal rest, etc ... Would be interesting to know what the league wide road winning percentage is in recent years regular season compared to playoffs - maybe toss out the first round results of the top 4 and bottom 4 teams as they often tend to be lopsided blowouts.

Good to see 12 back in the lineup. Not so thrilled to see 9 not dressed, but probably rotating some players this weekend.

What happened in the second period to give up 4 goals? Defensive Breakdowns or weak goals?
Great comeback win though and 4 goals by the defence.

What a circus.
I don't care much for shootout wins, but I thought the Cats goal called back in OT was pretty questionable so I'm ok with this one.
Cats were really the better team for the majority of the game so the two points were deserved. In fairness to B-C that was a pretty rag tag defence unit they were running out there tonight. Cadorette played outstanding for them.

Thought Rioux actually played fairly well all things considered. The first goal was a nice shot by Karabacek. The second goal Gamelin went around DTT like he wasn't even there and roofed one. The third goal was an odd-man rush and the fourth they left Boutet all alone in the slot for a one-timer.

Kudos for not giving up when they made it 5-2 with 10 minutes left.
According to the rule book, Garland should not have been allowed to shoot since he was serving a 10 minute misconduct.
