Saint John visits the nest tonight, Eagles are coming off a huge come from behind win. From the sounds of it we have quite a few people out for tonight. Hoping that some of the guys will be good to go for game time. If not we just need another big game out of who we have dressed. If Sullivan is still sick I expect Belanger will be in nets. O/U 2780 Going with Eagles 4-1.

According to the post farrell is still out for tonight, hope the boys are feelin better soon, first injuries now the flu bug this team cant catch a break lol hope we have a healthy enough lineup and i also say 4-1 for the good guys
Clark Bishop (lower body) and Pierre-Luc Dubois (lower body) remain out, but are practicing. Francis Brunelle (suspension) and Kyle Farrell (illness) won’t dress. A handful of other players are game-time decisions.
“We had six guys missing at practice (Monday). There are a few viruses going around the team. We have a seasonal flu and stomach flu going around. We had some players with eye infections as well. We have a few players on antibiotics as we speak. We have players missing school because they can’t go to school. It’s unfortunate. It is what it is. It’s a season and we have to get healthy.”
Also noticed this is the first time a player or anyone in the organization has given some indication on if the guys were getting along or not in the first half
Jacob smith "it's awesome. The guys are great. I get along with all of them and I think we owe our success a lot to off the ice,” said Smith. “We’re a lot closer than we were before Christmas and all the guys get along. It seems like we’re more of a family.”

2-0 after 2 with goals from Levielle and Svechnikov. Man Jacob Smith is having a monster game so far. Looked great in the first two.

Very interesting game tonight, good to come out with 2 points with a depleted lineup again. Outplayed and outshot for the most part, classic example of the goaltender stealing one for the team.Best game Belanger has played since coming here, keep up the good work, off to Quebec for three.

Hal your bang on, I was very negative on bringing in Anderson, boy was I wrong. He is a great player and his work ethic is bar none. Big win tonight and a much deserved 2 points

Why were you negative about bringing in Anderson? What you see is what Anderson has always brought through his Q career.

At the trade deadline I was hoping for a impact 20 like Micelli

Well, Anderson has happily had a big impact in CB, and cost nothing. Nice pickup for CB, and nice way for Anderson to finish his Q career after spending the first half of the season in Val D'Or.

Belanger played a sick game. Made some amazing toe stops off of a few tipped shots that I thought were sure goals. Especially the one off of St. Johns late chance that he kicked the right pad out for off the deflection. He stood huge in the crease for us tonight and fought like hell for the puck. I also thought his rebound control was great.
Not taking anything away from Svechnikov's performance at all with his 2 goals he played a great game also and continues to pile up the pts but I think if it wasn't for him breaking the record tn then Belanger definitely gets first star. But none of that even matters.
Huge 2 wins to get in the last 2 games when going on the 3 in 3 Quebec swing with the depleted line up we have. This roadie isn't going to be a fun one so those last two wins were crucial.
2 out of 6 pts is probably realistic and 4 out of 6 would be amazing.

Great to get 4 points with how many injuries we're dealing with along with the flu.
Belanger played a solid game, I honestly have confidence in both of our goalies and its nice, not like being nervous that every shot is going in on Brassard.
side note I actually completely forgot that Bell was on the Sea Dogs, didn't even notice him at all last night.
