As a junior team it's not good to have a guy like that around the team. Players at that level have enough outside temptations without having a member of the staff peddling dope...not good. No way the bigwigs knew about this... Let the many who never had a toke, please stand up. Right!!It is against the law( a very silly one at that) so the Irvings no doubt do take a very dim view of such activity so he is/will be shown the door, needless to say. It's not the usage they have an issue with it's potentially selling to 16-20 year old kids on their team...or a perception taht he can or did. The part that's fuzzy is how did it take 9 months to reach the cats and the Q? You'd think the police department investigating it would find out what the guy does for a living and that would raise a big, huge, gigantic red flag.

Regardless if you smoke weed and keep a supply for your own personal consumption, it is by law a banned substance and certainly can't be condoned by any Q team or the League for that matter. IMHO weed should be a legal substance in small amounts for personal consumption but that is another issue. As for commentary on Irving papers being they own all published papers in this Province, not surprised nothing was said. Lots of stuff doesn't get mentioned/published in their rags. Being an on-line subscriber to the Globe and Mail it bothers me not on Irving papers as I don't read them. PS go to the on-line CanadaLand , there are some interesting thoughts on Irving media empire. Cheers

More about the police in Quebec...what if he was a shool teacher?
