3 games for a high stick, did he swing at him or something? That seems kinda odd.

Numerous suspensions given after the game against Baie-Comeau. Svechnikov : 3 games (high sticking against Beaudry) Boutet : 5 games (for his hit against Anderson) Chevrier : 3 games (boarding call) Ambrozheichik : 2 games (he removed his helmet before his fight against Léveillé) www.lemanic.ca/?q=le-drakkar-subit-les-foudres-du-pr%C3%A9fetWhen i went to chl-wordpress-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/app/uploads/2015/03/Susp_Amendes_SiteWebLHJMQ_201415_20150302_PM.pdffet there is nothing about Svechnikov that i was able to find? ??

Serious Question .........Does this "HURT" or "HELP" his NHL Draft Status ? Some Teams love players that play on the / with an edge ....while others look at it as " selfish or undisciplined " .......discuss amongst yourselves .

Don't think it does anything in that regard unless he decides to get suspended a couple more times this season/playoffs for similar infractions.

I certainly don't think it helps so i'm of the opinion that it does hurt. His discipline issues have been something i've noticed. It's not just taking penalties, it's when you're taking them and why that matters a lot. He can still improve on it and should get a chance in the playoffs when we know teams will be getting under his skin. I've never viewed it as playing on an edge with him as he only seems to react to things and not initiate them and we all know what that means in a hockey game. Retaliation penalties can kill a team.

While it's not something that will drop him to round 3 or 4 vs rounds 1 or 2 I think in comparison to his peers like say a Sprong then the discipline factor becomes a part of the discussion. Luckily the NHL is not like the NFL or NBA where falling out of round 1 can really cost you an opportunity and/or a lot of money.
