Eagles are coming off a tough 3 in 3. We are 1pt back of the Islanders for 12th place. We will be without Svech tonight as he was suspended 3 games. Leading scorer Kyle Farrell, Jacob Smith and team captain Clark Bishop are all game-time decisions for tonight’s game due to illness, while goaltender Alex Bélanger (concussion) is out. So I assume we will see Sullivan in nets tonight. Hoping the other boys will be ready to go. 8 games left, lets finish strong and hopefully get in a good place for playoffs. Eagles 5-2. O/U 2320

No Smith, Belanger, and Svechnikov. Nosella and Beaudin still upfront. Bishop and Farrell back.

We had 25 shots in the first period?
Couldn't make it tonight, that sounds unbelievable lol.

Any word around the rink about how long belangers looking at for recovery?
I am certainly glad we have been sharing the starts all year. Sulli should be rested enough to carry the load down the stretch.

Blew that game by the looks of it.
10 shots in the final 2 periods while having 6 powerplays total.
Really important game for playoff seeding too.

Farrell and Bishop are still not 100%. Combine that with Svechnikov out, we had no offense whatsoever. It's gonna be tough these next few games.

We emptied the tank in the first period. If it wasn't for Mason McDonald in the first we would have been up a few. He played awesome in the first period then didn't have to face too much after that. With Svechnikov out and Bishop, Farrell and Dubois visibly not 100% it's tough. On a side note, I would love to know who picks the three stars. Mason McDonald got the third star (could have arguably got the first star from his play in the first period alone). Leveille was second star, I know he had two assists but other than that I thought he played his worst game in a long time. I guess at the end of the day that stuff doesn't matter. Tough loss, 3 points behind them now. Hopefully we can pull out a win against the cats on Friday.

Classic example of a goaltender stealing a game for his team. Mason MacDonald had 25 shots at him in the first period and we came out with one goal.Give PEI full credit for playing asolid road game after that, tough game to lose, puts a stall on moving up in the standings.

Lots of shots but most of them McDonald had a clear view . That suspension doesn't help either. His offense could have been the difference last night.

Busy, then broke. haha Decent game though. Too bad the boys couldn't grind out that win. I was a little disappointed, though. I thought they were going to be way more entertaining. Does Svechnikov alone make that big of an impact? Are there other regulars out that I'm not aware of? I think I counted 3 times where the eagles worked the cycle down low. This definitely isn't a puck possession team. That's for sure. Not very physical either.
