This is a huge game for the Eagles. They need every point they can get at this point.
I say 6-4 Eagles.

Games tomorrow, not today, but yep, all 5 remaining games should be played with playoff type intensity.

Has anyone heard anything on Belanger? Could he be ready for tomorrow?

When you guys win tonight against the Sea Dogs and when Drummondville loses tonight against Val D'Or, you guys will have officially clinched a playoff spot. Congrats in advance.

And officially traded away the #1 or 2 pick in the draft. Here's hoping we can win some of these last few and get as good a matchup in round 1 as possible because I refuse to accept that nobody should lose their job this season if we finish anything like last season.

I was pretty happy we didn't get rid of the Chicoutimi first at the time of the trade, good scouting by the Sea Dogs to pick the Drum first instead.. I think at the time of the trade they were at least 6-8 points ahead of Chicoutimi till they started losing like every single game played. Hoping Chicoutimi stays in 16th so we can trade that pick at the draft + probably some 3rd's for whatever forward is the "top target" next year. While I agree someone should be fired, I think management is going to give Dumont his 2015-2016 year to see if he can redeem himself, which I mean to be fair was the year they had been planning on "going for it" since he took over if I recall correctly. -- This should be the first game in a long time with none of our top 6 forwards out, I suspect Dumont goes back to: Dubois - Farrell - Svechnikov Lazarev - Bishop - Anderson Hinds on the 3rd line with Smith/Tower probably

I'd assume Hinds, Smith and Martineau as the 3rd line. No way I'd have Tower on the 3rd line over Martineau.
4th = Tower - Boucher - Macsween? Brunelle

Would be nice to have a healthy and suspension free lineup by then.

I mentioned a month ago that the Volts were finished. The Sag pick is still good though.
* Greedy self bump.

Who's available that's worth a top 3 pick + 3rds though? I can't really think of anyone. That would be a huge price to pay, especially if it's a 1 year player. If we could pick up another Dubois, I wouldn't give up that pick. We have our own pick that could be 5th or 6th and another 1st depending on O'Leary.

If there ever was an edition to this team that had the best chance of an upset this year is it though. I also feel that last year was disheartening but when you factor in how bad the division was it makes me feel a bit better. If CB was in any other division last year they would not have finished so high.

Off the top of my head I am not so sure but either way those picks will be used to make up for the offensive loss of our current 20's. Farrel will be a tough hole to fill. Plus , who knows what they will decide to do with goaltending.

I would not sit anyone against the Titan just to make sure we get the points. Unfortunate that they cannot sit anyone to rest and avoid injury but they need the points.

Not sure who will be available but next year we only have 4 top 6 forwards. Svechnikov - Bishop - Lazarev Dubois - x - x No doubt those picks are going to be moved for help, we lucked out with Dubois being a top 6 forward in his 16 year old season, that is highly unusual and can't count on a 3rd overall pick being an impact guy right out of the gate when we're going to be losing so many players after next year.
