if the storm comes as predicted i'd say the police will tell people will stay off the roads, hence it'll be cancelled. what if it were made up sunday and the playoffs were to start a day later for them both? game 1 on the saturday. is that an option? 6-4 mon I'm pretty sure the playoffs start next Friday so Sunday or even early next week could be an option for a postponed game.

Playing after the season is over is unlikely an option. Season ends Saturday it would have to be played before then. Having a game after the season ends would give Moncton an unfair advantage over Rimouski. Last games all have to start at the same time.

The games aren't starting at the same time ... they all start at 4:00 but some in the eastern time zone ... some in the Atlantic. Rimouski gets an advantage. They'll play the 3rd period knowing if Moncton won or not.

Admittedly I didn't check if that was a timezone thing because the Q often converts everything to Eastern. Although it could be decided by then anyway.....

The rainmen have the metro centre Thursday, so it would have to be after the season or they will play 2 in moncton.

It's a go first game in 3 years I may miss, thankfully for season tickets they may disclude tonight's game for Gold club members since some of us may be snowed in. (A bit crazy if you ask me there playing this, I know from John Moore's videos that some of the players are in Dartmouth and surrounding areas; I know it's the end of the season but come on Safety first)

In January, 2005 Halifax played in Moncton... really bad storm that day... ended up getting two feet. But the Moose traveled to Moncton the day before and therefore the game had to be played... and I don't recall anyone (especially anyone from Halifax) saying how "crazy" that was. I'd be willing to bet in both cases that all people involved were happy to not have to reschedule. Cats won that game 4-0, btw... Adam Pineaut beat, I think, Churchill (could've been Duchesne) on a shot from the redline. Cody Doucette won a decision over Kevin Cormier. Dan Lacroix with his first coaching win in the Q after Larue got canned. Good times.

It is ridiculous here, most pictures I am seeing look like the PEI pics from a few weeks ago. Entire driveways and parking lots buried - not sure what the city streets look like. And it is still coming down in storm-like fashion, expecting another 10 cm or so. This is all piled on the huge snow/ice banks that have existed for weeks too. No idea where they will put the snow, as many city streets had embankments 5-10 feet high already. If some/all players are stuck in the suburbs, they may not be able to get there.

If it wasn't the end of the season, it would likely be rescheduled but with just a couple of days left, it won't be. I remember a couple of games that were played in front of Alpines-like crowds at the Coliseum because of storms. You could have a conversation with your buddy across the ice.
