At the end of the day, your team paid a horrible price to upgrade in what could very well be a first round exit. I cannot foresee differently after this weekend show down. Quit trolling. You've been in the basement for years because of bad management.

Looks like it is Shawinigan in Round 1 with the slight chance of the Remparts if Hfx wins tmrw against Moncton.

I am unsure. Quebec has the most talent in the league but they cannot get themselves together. Although the Remps on a bad night can probably rip us . CB dicked the season after the first half. Where is the accountability?

Where is the accountability? They have so much talent, i feel like theres no way they won't put it together in the playoffs. Plus playing in front of 10000+ home crowd fans is intimidating im sure.

I thought teams had to dress 20 players. Moncton only have 19.
Also, we always blame the team at the end of the year for not pulling off x # of points in so many games in order to reach a particular goal. I'm not saying we should have lost that game - yes, it was bad - but more blame should be on the team that f'ed up the first half of the season.

I think they will make short work of CB ( maybe win in 5 games ) but I feel Quebec is a team that will bow out in the second or third round. I doubt they make the finals.

There are many reasons but not clicking until the second half is inexcusable. Valid excuses are : Injuries Players not wanting to be here ( Darcy , Simard , Pelletier) but.... at the end of the day you have to look at the coach. Always the first scapegoat I know. The team has often fell apart in the third period. That has been the trend. The other is that nobody was forcing Dumont to start Brassard so much in the first half. Looked like he was trying to save face on the trade. As well as losing Darcy+Pelletier who were supposed to be integral parts to this team. Pelletier + Bell regressed this year. Again , not all on the coach but there is a trend.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but this team is going nowhere with this guy as the coach. He mishandles the goaltenders, he has no systems in place, he constantly juggles the lines. Can somebody(anybody) tell me why he dresses 11 forwards and 7 defencemen all the time as opposed to the traditional 12 forwards and six dmen. Makes no wonder he has to juggle the lines, he has 2 extra forwards and one extra dman to give ice time to and the only way to accomplish that is to mix up the lines. Check the gamesheets from the other teams, very consistent with 12 and 6, not this guy. if there is someone out there who can come up with a logical reason for this, I'm listening.

I agree with the 11 forwards and seven defense. The only thing I can think of is because of the injuries. Nothing else would make sense. Hoping Anderson and Hinds are back, here is what I hope the lineup looks like.
Bishop - Farrell - Svechnikov Lazerev - Hinds - Anderson Boucher - Martineau - Dubois Smith - Tower - Brunelle
Leveille - Deschamps Gosselin - MacIntyre Lalonde - Nosella
We have to forecheck constantly and hold that puck in their zone and need to clear the puck quickly and cleanly out of our zone. Our defense have to be real quick and smart to compete in this series. Speed on defense is a concern. Any kind of a trap like we did against Gatineau last year will kill us and make this a short series. Have to take advantage of our speed up front.

Do you really think he is going to go with 12 and 6 after not doing it all year? Also, the past 2 times he has needed a forward, he has moved a defenceman up front. The last series in Chatlottetown, he scratched MacSween, a forward, and put Beaudion, a defenceman, up front. This weekend, he was short a forward and he calls up matt paul, a defenceman. Makes no sense to me. Do you really like the idea of splitting up the 2 Russians? Based on their play lately, I would be dropping Bishop out of the top 6, not Dubois.
