Hallelujah. Hard to believe but I will gladly be proven wrong. It could also be a mind game. He went from a season ending injury to a comeback in the 1st round? Someone mentioned until the third round. Which would likely be until next season. I don't know if those mind games really do anything at all.

Leblanc out until next season. Hinds + Andersen expected to return. In today's herald "..................Leblanc ...day to day .....? Deja vu. Remember the Slaney debacle? Playoff series vs Quebec, big name player out for the season according to everyone but the team. They even dressed him at one point, to fill the water bottles apparently, as he never played a shift. Hope this isn't history repeating itself. If the player is out for 6-8 weeks as most expect there's absolutely nothing the team can gain by hiding that.

Completely missed the point I was making. I was saying if the community can pack a rink for Jr.B hockey than they should be able to pack a rink for QMJHL playoff hockey. Keep up the positivity Jack clearly you are the one missing the point as I see someone else got it...packing c200 vs packing bayplex are not comparable...if the jr b game was at c200 thered be 1200 people there...eagles will have 2800. The powerhouse jr b team probably generated 8-10k in ticket sales while the eagles as an underdog will generate up to 40k. You call me negative yet have posted nothing that would be referred to as positive while shitting on eagle fans for not supporting their team to the level of a jr b team that i just proved cant even come close to the eagles ticket sales. And if anything ive given the Eagles as much of a chance in this series as one can considering the season we just experienced. Have to go with Jack. I think it's pretty easy to breakdown the Jr.B attendance. Not familiar with the current roster or community, but a combination of (majority) local roster, and at least 300-400 die hard hockey fans in the CBRM that will attend any hockey going on. I can see a population of 16K in Glace Bay getting behind a home grown successful product like the Miners and pack in 500-800 people for a playoff game. Then you have the cost of everything. Most people that I’ve talked to around here always say they’ve been meaning to get to an eagles game, but just never get around to it.

I don't know if those mind games really do anything at all. I honestly think those mind games hurt our players more then theirs. I doubt their leaders will have to answer any questions about our injury situations. But I bet our best players will have it brought up throughout the series if the team continues to push the 'day-to-day' term with the injury. I don't see how it helps us at all unless the player is actually in a day to day situation.

What's the angle ?

What's the angle ? Its pointless. It does not mess with their heads at all IMO. Of course their game plan changes a bit if he's in the lineup, but not enough to change their strategy against us. Macintyre needs to step up big time. I know it's an article on the paper, but he SHOULD have a chip on his shoulder this series. I'll be watching him. Absolutely blows my mind Fucale is on the bench. Drouin looked bored alot last year as well but still stepped up when needed. Getting a chance to play in the MEM cup again, you would think he would be looking too add to his resume going into training camp next year. One bad game by booth and he goes in I would guess. But hey, it would sure to be nice to have those two goalies as options...

I'd imagine Booth is on a very short leash.

Speaking of ticket sales, next weekend is easter weekend. If this thing is tied up 2-2 for game 5, i think we will see a near sell out friday night. It would be a HUGE game in the series. We need to be up 3-2 to have a chance in this series going back too Quebec. I for one living in Halifax will be home next weekend, and will be purchasing tickets for a game 5(if it happens).

There's no reason we cant beat the remparts we underachieved the first half cause of the problems in the locker room this team now can beat anyone belanger will get the job done just wait and see If Dumont goes with Bélanger i hope you are right and he can pull at least one win in Quebec we need to win one or both of the games in Quebec. And yes i agree the team can do it but they need to play the way that they have shown they can. GO EAGLERS GO

Gauthier practiced full-contact this morning. Seems the Remparts are going into tonight healthy.

I hope we can pull a split regardless of who our starting goaltender is. I think a healthy Belanger is our best bet for being successful. In a hockey series there is no must win game until game 3. We learned that vs Quebec in 2009. Coming back down 2-0 or up 2-0 or tied 1-1 the 3rd game ends up being the momentum changer more often then not.
