Meh, I enjoy the atmosphere and old school feel. They should have a scoreboard on one of the end walls though.

The problem with the sidewalks is that after the game it took forever getting back to the car, it was just another annoyance of being at that dump. The atmosphere is better than the Scotiabank Place. Would anyone disagree with that? You can't call the Forum a dump (but for fuck sakes they should more score clocks), and not call the Scotiabank place a dump. It is actually A LOT easier to get around at the Forum, the Forum can handle the capacity much better than the Scotiabank Place can handle the capacity. The only two things that have bothered me at the Forum - no shot clock / the one that is there must be broken, and the sound system. They cant compress the sound. Ian Robinson sounds like he is having an asthma attack if he is speaking over music ...this system at the Forum can really only handle one sound source at once. I could complain about the pillars and the rafters that block either penalty times if you are in the wrong row..but its an old building so I expect that. For that matter if the Moose had invested in a video projector and big white screen and hung it where the Moose country sign is they could have had silvervision to make the same game experience as Scotiabank Center if they wanted to.

That is one thing I can't complain about, Ian Robinson not being able to be as loud. Damn that guy is annoying. But all of hockey announces the goals that way now.

The Sherbrooke guy starts each goal announcement with "Oh My God..."
