Eagles lead the series 1-0 after last nights 3-2 win.
I fully expect the goaltenders to be the same as last night with Booth facing Belanger.
Eagles need to play a more disciplined game as we cant give that lineup so many chances with the man advantage.
If we continue to get the leadership and top 6 players buying in with shot blocks and defensive effort we can absolutely steal tonights game and put them in the very situation their coach was fearing with his talk of hating the 2-3-2 format.
I think Quebec takes tonights game 4-2.

I agree. I think we will be back here tied at one a piece. We were very fortunate that our pk did a good job last night or that game could have easily gone the other way. I'm predicting another tight game, 5-4 Remparts.

7-3 Eagles.
Need an early goal to take the crowd out of it and plant the seed of doubt.

Yes, need something early. If Quebec get up early we're done as they'll have the home crowd and momentum back.

One thing that really stands out from Game 1 is the face-offs. Farrell took 25 face-offs while the next highest attempts on the team was Martineau who was 2/7. I assume Hinds is being hindered from the hand/wrist injury that kept him out of the final regular season games, which is a big loss in the circle. Just a small thing to watch for to see if Farrell can continue to take over 40% of the draws on the road.

Did anyone who watched the game notice the stick work by our defence ?
I really thought our dee did a solid job in terms of that.
Good active sticks that broke up a good amount of passes and chances in front of our net.
Hope we can come out hard tn and silence the crowd early.

They did a great job of keeping the Remparts to the outside, very good positional play by all our d-men. Hope they can repeat that tonight.

Dirty hit by Cuomo on Gosselin. Good for Boucher for sticking up for him. First fight of the QMJHL playoffs, I think.

All set to watch the game on my ipad. Pay the $7 than find out you need flash. I know it's only $7 but it's a piss off to pay it and then find out I can't watch it... Had my hopes up that I was gonna see the game... I appreciate all the updates.

Great intensity. Cape Breton is proving they will be a hard out this playoff.
I noticed on the goal by Cuomo that the refs reviewed the call. The two refs gave the phone to a linesman and huddled around as he spoke to the video review guys.... is that a language thing? Or did he see something that was easier just to get him to explain to the video guys what he thought he saw?

1-0 Quebec after one on a goal that we could have prevented. Why drop that puck, take the whistle! Looks like erne left the game with help from two teammates.
Overall a good first. Couple great chances by the eagles that missed the net completely. Esp that 3 on 1 when dubois came out of the box.
