Terrible news if Farrell is indeed out. CB Post article today, primarily on Belanger, only says about Leblanc.
Snow has stopped by just after 2pm. So besides some slightly messy roads, shouldn't be too bad out.

Hopefully the Eagles injury luck changes in time for next year's playoffs. Jesus. Pretty disheartening... Been injury prone since January. I know that's all part of the game but it's just so tough after alnost having our entire line up healthy to lose leblanc in the manner we did ( Svecnnikov falling on the back of his leg) and now Farrel taking a puck to the face. I guess all we can do is play hard and leave it all on the ice.

Worst injury luck in the Q by far this year.
Its never just a depth guy that's out, always a top 6 forward / top 2 d-man for weeks at a time.
Farrell was taking like 80% of the faceoffs for us this series cause our other C's are weak on the dot, this is a massive loss despite the fact that his line hadn't produced offensively.
Dubois back up to the top 6 now I'm guessing, with the Russians?

Still don't see what we lose by declaring what his injury is. 1 legged hockey players are useless no matter how talented they are.

Not shooting down the news of Farrell being out but he did play in the 3rd period in game 2. If I was a betting man I'd say he plays tonight regardless of any bumps or bruises (mild concussion) he may have incurred.

If he suffered a mild concussion, it's a league policy that he can't play for 7 days. Even if he feels ok.

If it's a documented concussion even from after the game then he must sit at least a week. And a concussion is a concussion. It's not like a sprain. The work mild shouldn't even be used to describe a concussion. If he took a puck to the face and had headaches or nausia then he won't be playing hockey for a few days.

Isn't he done for game 5 as well then? If it a concussion then yes he would be out until game 6 at minimum.

I'm aware of the rules regarding the head injuries. Just that it hasn't been mentioned once by any media outlet leads me to believe that it isn't a "documented concussion". Same thing happened last year vs Gatineau with Farrell. After game 2 fans were mentioning that he was finished for the season due to a head injury but ended up playing games 3 & 4. We'll have to wait and see. Certainly a major loss if he is out of the lineup.

Helps us in no way and watching the RDS highlights of the post game 1 interview with Dumont you can see Leblanc limp by in the background on crutches. Day to day my @ss.

Hugeeeee first to be up 2-0 with 3 pk's. Bishops best period since he's been back. Huge first goal, and great on the Pk. Speaking of the Pk, this group has bought in. Laying it all on the line.
Keep it up boys!!

Great start but they have to stay out of the penalty box. Quebec is too talented to be shut down on the PP.
