Still have no idea how Vuic got Labbé off the ice for 15 minutes without giving the Cataractes a power play. That was awesome but I do understand why Bernard was pissed off, haha.

I was shocked Vuic didn't get an extra 2 minutes. I would have been pissed too. I see he's suspended tonight lol. Has he ever had a fight that hasn't lead to him getting A) a 10, B) a game misconduct, or C) suspended? Just have a clean 5 min major for fighting? Serious question.
I took in the game last night. I could never watch a full season of hockey in the Forum, but for the odd game, especially a playoff game, it's a fun place. We controlled the game for the first 30min, and you could tell the building had the Cataractes rattled. We skated well, had a ton of chances, up 2-0. Then Shawi got those 2 goals, and the rest of the way it was their game to lose imo. Just wasn't a game that had the feeling we'd pull it out. Good game tho, great pace.
Cats are just a little deeper, little bit more skilled then the Moose. Cupper is just a touch better then Brassard (taking nothing away from him, he was awesome, and has been a lot). We can definitely beat then in a 7 game series, and being down 2-1 isn't much, but we can't afford as many mistakes as them.
Ehlers needs to be better tonight, and the rest of the way, frankly. He's talented enough to be able to flip a switch, and dominate a game whenever he wants, but his switch was off more then on last night. We can't win when that's the case.

Ehlers needs time and space to be effective. Playoffs are faster, tighter and more physical. Add to that the Forum ice being smaller than regulation and I don't see Ehlers flipping any switches or being able to use his speed to the best of his ability.
I'd like to see more from Meier. This is the style of play he should thrive in.

The Mooseheads have to hope for the Cateractes to be undisciplined for most of the game thus allowing for Ehlers and Meier to do their thing on the PP. Else, not much chance. Hopefully how I see it turns out to be wrong.

He's an awesome player but we can't expect him to be McDavid out there.

Throw out a name to sound like you actually follow though. Ehlers has 9pts in 4 games. Halifax finishes last in the league without Ehlers and dont win a game in this series.

I know Quebec has two huge euro's, but Ehlers creates a ton of chances on his off nights. Huge game for you guys friday!
