I know we see problems this time of year..... Halifax sometimes has figure skating or curling bumping them to the forum.
And you guys always have a bunch of headaches this time of year.
But this is the absolute worst I've ever seen.
It's a long way from Moncton to Fredericton! When I go to Fredericton from PEI, I arrive in Moncton and I'm about half way there!
Very discouraging for fans who support this team.
Looks ridiculous on what is supposed to be one of the best run teams in the league.
I wish we were playing you guys and not Quebec.

I'm having a hard time understanding how any of this is the Wildcats' fault. Can hardly blame the city/Coliseum either but I'd say it's more their fault than the Wildcats. You can't pass on guaranteed revenue generators because the hockey team MIGHT have a playoff game on that date. It seems like mostly bad luck to me or am I missing something?

The only way that works is if the majot tenant pays more in their lease and gets an exclusivity to protect all those dates. None of the major tenants in junior bother with that. Halifax doesn't but they have a decent lease - Moncton sort of has more problems because home show, boat show, car show come up every year when the playoffs in a league where 99% chance you get to play first and second round... Not may teams get beyond that but this is a chronic problem for Moncton.

I got an email on the round two schedule well over a week ago as part of the Cats on line subscription and it clearly stated April 19th as the third home game(if required). So you mean to tell me NOBODY thought to coordinate any dates prior to a public release. I find that utter UNBELIEVABLE..... as somebody posted the Cats and/or city had it in their minds the vendor of Friday exhibition would move/cut short or whatever, their Friday time. Vendor said no f--- ng way. So here we are. Anyway I have no intention heading to Freddy for a Cats game and I will be demanding a refund on that ticket as I prepaid my play off series. This ^^ nobody thought? There are managers that work at the Coliseum involved with setting up events and converting the building...they all know what they do every day.mthey have calendars? Nobody spoke up is what the issue is.

A 2-3-2 series could have been agreed on. A friday game in Halifax would have drawn close to a sell- out. How is that not better then he currejt arrangemnt?

Absolutely ridiculous to have a game in Fredericton!!!!! I haven't read all the stuff coming out of the city but was the Levesque not available? You don't have the seating capacity there but come on....driving an hour and 40 minutes to see a "home" game? What a load of crap. As much as I want to support my team, there is no way I am making that trek.

Should have done 2-3-2, Tues, Wed, Fri, Mon, Tues. Same thing Rimouski is doing in there series as their arena has also been booked...only difference is their mayor didn't go behind everyones back and sign two contracts for the same time.

I believe the league mandated after the last levesque series that these secondary rinks need a minimum capacity now (outside of preseason). I remember talk here about that. There's lots of rinks in the area with 1000-1500 capacity. If that is the case then the levesque's 1500 or so seats aren't enough anyway and we better get used to this until the Feds and/or provincial govt come through with funding.

their mayor didn't go behind everyones back and sign two contracts for the same time. I wouldn't be so sure that George Leblanc went behind everyone's back and signed two contracts - Councillor Bourgeois is not a supporter of Leblanc so I would take what he says with a grain of salt, he is only looking at scoring some political points. So, I'm not heading to Fredericton, nor do I have Rogers (Go FibreOP!), so does that mean I need to pay for the webcast if I want to see the game? It would be a very good PR move for the Wildcats to find a way to have the webcast available at no charge...

I know they planned to show it here but haven't heard if they are planning to go to Fredericton...
