Hoping for a much different result. One of you wished for Dubeau to be ordinary and he was. Congrats. Gonna need him to step the fuck up and stop playin like Fucale. Go Cats Go! Gotta shut down Scuba Nik. Sent from my SGH-I337M using proboards

No doubt we'll see a different Moncton team tonight, the Scuba Nik is getting a little lame but who really gives a shit if he can continue to do what he's done all playoffs.

Well hardly anyone picked Cats in 4 for a reason. This series wasn't going to be an absolute romp. But Moncton is still the better team, and they can very easily take 4 of 6 games. That being said, it was nice to take home ice away and plant a little seed of doubt. Confidence can be a big thing.
You know Dubeau will be better tonight. But I like all the traffic the Moose had in front of him in game 1. If he sees the puck and they all hit his chest, those bounces don't happen. Have to keep getting into his kitchen.
The Moose did a pretty good job defensively in game 1, but Moncton started running around on them in the 3rd. This game will more than likely be closer, so we'll have to play a complete game this time around.
I think Moncton bounces back tonight and we split the first two games. But here's hoping we squeak another one out to really put the pressure on. Go Moose!!

Moose either get shutout or score another 7 goals.

3-2 Halifax, I know I said that in Game one but I have a feeling tonight will be closer!

I really think the Mooseheads will have to hang on for the first 5-10 minutes and make sure they are playing tight defense. If we can make it past that timeframe then I think we have a chance to win this game.

As long as Max Fortier ties it up within a minute of their goal we will be fine.
I do not think a track meet helps the Cats in this series. And eventually refs will put more Cats in the Box

No doubt we'll see a different Moncton team tonight, the Scuba Nik is getting a little lame but who really gives a shit if he can continue to do what he's done all playoffs. Our team gets called Mildcats, Pussycats, Monkeytown, etc ... and have been called that by opposing fans for about 18 years. We've had the "dirty Saulniers" bad-mouthed by Moose fans, and it still happens even though they are no longer in the Q. Barbashev gets called "Barbie" ... Garland is "whiny little shit". Sorry you are feeling upset by having one of your players picked on.

And eventually refs will put more Cats in the Box Moncton plays it pretty disciplined ... last night was pretty typical. Against Chic they were trying to stir things up after every whistle, but Moncton stayed out of it for the most part. We were one of the lesser penalized teams all season ... and have continued that in the playoffs. Halifax is not a greasy team like Chic is ... so for us to get you guys to take penalties we need to outwork you and force the hook and hold type calls. We just have to get our PP going to make teams pay when they try to grease it up ... not working great yet ... but it was our bread and butter in the regular season.

The biggest shocker of this series so far, is that you guys are letting an out of towner start your game day threads.

I think the Cats were the better team during the season but I don't think they are the better team in the playoffs. Our top players are better than their top players, our D is arguably very green but have shown they can step up and shut their top guys down. Brass has proven in Rd 1 and game 1 of Rd 2 that he came to play. I agree tonight's game is going to be tight and both teams are going to play their tails off but to say Moncton has this series wrapped is premature. This may be one of the best match ups in Rd 2! IMO
