Taillefer really cost us that game. Big tieing goal, momentum with the Mooseheads and then the bonehead penalty for going after the Cats guy. Stupid.

What a stupid penalty by Taillefer Just tie the game, controlling the play 5 on 5 and then take that dumb play. Cost us the game. In the regular season you'd be praising him for that. Rookie mistake for stepping up to defend his teammate at that moment. Tough to hang the loss on him for stepping up for his teammate.

I've been against that "fight the guy that just hit your teammate" stance since day one. Yeah you might rally the troops for a shift. But we just scored to tie it, and we give Moncton the momentum back with the Powerplay. Malatesta didn't want to fight, nor should he have to. He did good to lay off and give it a bit so that he'd draw the instigator. (Nothing wrong with that). All in all though I'm happy with the effort tonight. Moncton came to play, and we showed that we can hang with them. We'll adjust to their power play (I hope). Unfortunately they listened to me and had all kinds of traffic in front of Brassard. That's how you beat a good goalie. We'll have to do a better job clearing the front of the net and letting Brassard see the puck. IMO the winner of the game tomorrow night wins the series. A Moncton win gives them home ice back, and all the momentum. A Halifax win swings it back in the Moose's direction, and gives them that much more confidence. Tonight was an eye opener that nothing is easy, and every win will have to be earned. Go Moose!! It was Klebanskyj with the hit and the fight ... and he pounded and bloodied Taillefer after he "laid off" as you said.

You weren't watching the same game I watched ... we touch you we get a penalty ... you hack hook punch interfere/pick and no calls. I think you guys got called for every 5th infraction you did. That call on Bower was BS ... Meier should have got the same 4:00 for the hit on Malatesta ... and you can be sure that video will be sent in ... if Johnson can get 2 games for what he did then so should Meier. The punch to Garland's head well after the whistle should also be looked at. Should be interesting ... but there are clearly 2 different standards in this series. I thought the punch on Garland deserved 2 for roughing and 2 for embellishing. Leblanc gave him a little slap and Garland went down like Vuic hit him with a haymaker. Regarding some of the checking from behind penalties on both teams, I hate when the player who has the puck, as a means of protecting/shielding the puck from the defender, turns his back to the defender, and then draws a penalty when he loses the contact battle. The NHL has some videos that show when they don't call checking from behind or boarding in a case like this.

Like to see a different angle on that Klebanskyj hit... looks like he launched that hit right at the head.

He punched him in the head ... while he was skating away from the net ... unprovoked ... after the whistle. It is one thing to punch a guy in a scrum in front of the net ... but that was unexpected and highly dangerous. Did Garland do his Captain Morgan stance after that, like Ehlers did when he embellished the injury ?

You have to be freaking kiddding me guys, the penalty shot was not deserved it was a very weak call and I'm not the only one saying that. Talliefer didn't cost us, that should have been 4 on 4 their guy elbowed Fortier in the face was not fan of that. I agree the checking from behind has to stop, so I'm glad their calling it didn't like the call on Meier at first, was ok with it after seeing the replay. The boys, were horrible in the first could not get the puck out of our end, then Dom must have done some talking too between periods because they started having more jump and push in the second was lots of back and forth. The third, they tied it as I predicted they would, then the dirty hit on Fotier which drew the instigator(which IMO should have been 4 on 4 for the instigator which by the way I freaking hate that penalty but their guy did elbow Fortier in the face, and guess what I don't have rose colored glasses it happened right in front of me.) Tomorrow night is a pivotal game for us to win, it would be huge to go to Fredericton with the 3-1 lead; we just have to be better and we have to get them out of the crease so Brass can do his thing.

No elbowing on that hit. Fully deserved the instigator. You realise ppl get to see the replays. It was an obvious penalty shot, Barbashev was a full stride ahead and got hooked. Your commentator said it immediately when it happened. You'd think after watching all that hockey you would know what the penalties are for. Maybe you were dreaming that game.

Rumble was pretty classy doing the ol`dive jesture to Ducharme. This diving thing is really getting old. Yeah game after game you watch him, he is peeling sticks off him and guys are running him out of the play with subtle interference, and he fights through most of it... yet when he goes down, people call it a dive. The guy is twice as fast as anyone out there and weighs 170 lbs, and nobody can believe he can be taken down with a stick in the spokes or a hook around his arm.
