The next goal decides the series. I'm picking Burke. I said the same thing...cats are gaining momentum and Haliofax looks tired, lack of depth catching up to them. I wouldn't be too quick to say that, we have 3 bodies out right now that could very well be back in the lineup the next 2 games!

He wouldn't be playing at 100%. I'm assuming he has a concussion.

The top guys on Halifax look gassed, actually so do Garland and Barbashev but Moncton has more depth.

Nice to go down to Halifax and see a couple wins!
I thought the Cats really controlled the play at 5-on-5 for the most part in this game. The PK still looks to be a bit of an adventure at times so they really need to stay out of the box. There were certainly some dumb penalties being taken that could have changed the game.
Great job by Rumble to make adjustments on the PP. The series could very well be over right now if not for changing things up.
Will Smith has looked pretty lost most of this series, but credit for him to stepping up with a couple big plays when it mattered.
Best-of-three now so it's anyone's series.

No Fortier or Gadoury and even Watt game time decision. Parker called up, good luck in the next round Moncton!

I didn't find Timo or Ehlers looked tired at any point....amazed at how well they could keep up that high level of play given the minutes they play.

However if b4 the series began you would have given them the opportunity to be tied after 2 games they would have taken it. Missing Fortier + Gads will be hard to overcome outside of another one of these breakout games by either Meier or Ehlers.

Actually nothing this season has come easy for them. But they have so much experience to draw on and believe in their coach and follow his system very well that they may very well believe they can go another round. There have been nights (many) that they looked like a 4 and out team this year and then bounced back with heroic efforts, so I have long stopped trying to predict what they will do.

They will go as far as Ehlers can carry them. He has been great so far...but he is the workhorse. If he is neutralized or minimized the Moose are done. But he is so much better than the rest of the league he can carry the team. He won't be playing junior next year.

Where will he be playing? Unless he goes to Europe he will be back. Winnipeg aren't going to bring a 19 yr old into the fold. And he can't play Ahl. Obviously he needs to work on lots before the next level

He almost made the team out of camp last year. 19 isn't super young, Pastrnak is 18 playing for the Bruins, Sam Bennett is 18 playing in the playoffs, etc...

Did not hear Moose fans say Moncton is done after the first 2 games. Most thought they would win the series to begin with, just check the poll. I suppose you think fans being realistic will make the Moose play worse. Cheering wont be less anyway.
