Unworthy ? Ok how do you figure that ? Did they just make up points? No I believe they did finish second and yes they played two terrible games in Moncton. Bounced back and really played pretty decent road games considering the penalty both good and bad against them. Moose played very well and brassard frustrated them. The beat chic who arguably were a much better team than the moose. Very good top two lines. Very decent d and a great goalie Unfortunately they started off 2-19 I believe and fired their coach. Hard to come back from that start. I don't think Chic was better. Chic was very good, but had no secondary scoring beyond the Dauphin line ... all offense went through him. Halifax is somewhat structured the same ... almost all offense through Ehlers ... but Meier is better than anybody on Chic outside of Dauphin (both very similar players actually). The difference in the two is that Dubeau played great vs Chic ... and was poor vs Halifax in Games 1 & 2. The Chic series was also very much more physical and more garbage after the whistle ... which added a dimension missing from this series. In a 7 game series between Hal and Chic ... my money would be on Halifax ... in 6.

You need to ask yourself do u really think if the Cats win this series that they are scraping by in can they beat the next team they will face....looks like Quebec right now?? I wonder what confidence Cats Nation has in doing that after watching how this series has gone? I don't think anybody has any illusions that Moncton will win a championship this season. I think we top out at the 3rd round, but could make it to the final. We aren't better than Rimouski ... and aren't better than Quebec if they put all of their dysfunction to rest. I don't think we'd beat BBA in a best of seven either, but Gatineau took that off the table. Keep in mind that this team was selling at Xmas. Sweeney was traded but that trade blew up (to the benefit of Halifax). We dealt away Lalonde and Tkachev, and Burke was added as a consolation prize (but has worked out great) ... dealt away Mathieu Olivier ... and then we made a couple of minor deals for Zilbert and Beaton ... neither guy a true top 6 forward. Why would we be selling if we thought we could win a championship ... with the likes of Quebec and Rimouski loading up ? Our team took first in the division ... and ran away with it ... because of consistency in the regular season that nobody else in the division seemed to have. We weren't blowing anybody away like the Halifax and Saint John division champions of the last 5 years ... just winning and getting it done. Our division was fairly weak and that benefited us as well. We also haven't really suffered much from long term injuries this year which always makes it easier to stay up in the standings.

What line are you playing on in Freddy or did you buy into the team recently. Lot of WE,OURS as you like to point out.
