Top power play in the QMJHL goes 0/6. That was the difference. Our second PP unit is pretty scary(ugly) right now. I am not one of those people that scream out SHOOT SHOOT, but as u saw Moncton's 2 goals the other night from the blueline. Don't know if u are just waiting for that perfect passing play. Hopefully we will get some of those seeing eye shots through in the next couple of games. I agree. First PP unit really misses Gadoury too. He's another talented sniper which opens up even more room for the Euros.

Wow. I am surprised. Old AHL fans? Or are people travelling to the game.

A bunch of seats were set aside for Wildcats fans with playoff packages. Tickets that go unclaimed will be released to the general public tomorrow.

It's official. After 11 playoff games Halifax trainer has more ice time than vuic. Why is he still with team. I would at least play someone else who has been. A healthy scratch or a 7 D

Not to repeat what's already said, but without Gadoury and Fortier, it's tough. We have little depth WITH those guys. Take them out, it's impossible to makeup for. Guys are giving it their all, but can only do so much.
Ehlers - Moynihan - Meier create offence almost every shift, problem is, they can't play 45 mins lol. We had a good mix going in Moncton. Good top 6 that seemed to clicking. That's gone now.
We were inches from going up 3-1. 2-2, we're still in it, but need a big game 5 to get momentum back. I've learned not to count this group out, but my gut tells me we're close to a KO blow.

At least the next game they have some warm bodies for the injured during last game. Would be fun to see some more magic.

I don't think you are. I think when Moncton is forechecking hard and moving their feet, they are the better team at 5 on 5 ... hemming you guys in for long stretches. But penalties have tended to switch the momentum back and forth, and they (mainly referring to Moncton) lose that hard driving posture that served them well before the rush of penalties. I found that Moncton would lose their momentum when they'd have to kill 2 and 3 penalties in a short period ... and it took awhile to get it back. They usually got it back when they got a PP of their own. Both teams need to stay out of the box ... as in any series really. Both teams have a good PP and so penalties can easily turn into goals. Plus ... killing penalties wears the players down. Moncton needs 4 lines working hard ... and they'll win. We lost games 1 & 2 because we had too many passengers. If we have passengers tonight ... we probably lose. Do you realize you were called for one penalty in game 1? The first one of the game, a double minor? One penalty. Is Stephen Johnson the person behind SteveUL?

Watt, got hit in the head at the beginning of the second I believe it was probably knocked him out with a concussion Hoping we can get Gadoury, Fortier and Watt back for game 5... not sure on their status. I don't know how much more we can expect from the current squad. They won't be in the lineup. This isn't meant to single you out, this goes for everyone... sure we can say what we really think to our buddies, but on this forum, where the players are likely reading this, we the fans have to show unwavering support during this series and the thought of losing should not creep in our minds on Moosetalk despite the bad luck the Mooseheads are facing at the moment.

I don't think anyone is giving up - Losing Gadoury and Fortier is tough but they didn't play in Game 4 and we went to OT - we could have easily been the winner and just a simple whistle blown too soon could have been the difference. We NEED to get traffic in front of Dubeau and use our D more often for shots from the point - both goals in Game 4 were created by D (Fitzgerald and Ford). We need to adjust and play the game. Like they always say "the game is played on the ice" anything can happen.
