I'm not sure who it is, maybe the Mooseheads or the media, but Halifax is made out to be this big huge junior hockey hotbed. To me it Halifax no different than any other junior hockey city - people only give a shit when the games are HUGE. We have a higher population, a venue that holds more than most, and probably great corporate sponsorship. But I don't think the appetite for junior hockey here is anything that is 'special'.

I like the positive approach hfxfan09 took to creating the thread. "keys to victory". Well done. Any negative energy from me regarding the playoffs will be in a post-mortem, which hopefully isn't coming any time soon. Thanks Guru, I'm trying to remain optimistic even though it's a tough hill to climb should be a good game all in all we really have nothing to be ashamed of the moto of this 2014-15 team has been never give up. I've learnt a few lessons being a STH of sorts whether it be full or 15 pack never count these guy sout I watched them rally from 3-0 against the Quebec Remarts Dom's second season as coach, I refuse o give up on them ;I'm also a Sentators fan so I've been in playoff mode for 2-3 mnths cheering for the Sens to even make the playoffs till last Satuday when they finally did. I think it's time people get out and support the team, I'm being optimistic but this part is being realistic it could very well be your last chance to see Nik Ehlers in a Halifax uniform, and you'll be kicking yourself for not going because my gut is telling me Ehlers/Meier are going to have big games tomorrow afternoon.

What the hell are you rambling on about? You spent most of your time here laughing at anyone who has a real interest in junior hockey and trying to convince people the games aren't entertaining, and now you are leading the positivity police and ragging on the fans for not buying enough tickets for your liking. Not every year, every round, will drum up "sellout crowds in 20 minutes" type ticket sales as this market has seen in recent years. But 7500-8000 people for Tuesday/Wed 2nd round playoff action is AMAZING support, especially when the games are on TV and the webcast these days. You can't get a decent seat in the lower bowl all season because they are bought - company seats or not. The city supports the team and league very well.

Nathan MacKinnon's hand should be healed by now, and Drouin was a healthy scratch for his first playoff game. Just saying. I'm pretty sure there is a rule for players in the NHL coming back to Jr. I remember one year the Moose traded for the rights for a player (one of the NY teams?) in the hope he might come back, and there was a 'drop dead' date in January or February for him to return (didn't happen). ... but what a laugh it would be for them to be even in the warmup! Hmmmm - I wonder if they keep old sweaters in a closet or something? I mean, just find a couple of anybodys that can skate a bit and put them out for the warmup lol.

I don't hide the fact I think the regular season is a waste of money. But why can't I question where the so called junior hockey fans are for the playoffs? For an elimination game? This is the hockey that is worth watching, not the crap in the regular season. But yes, I am the positive police when it comes to my thoughts on the series itself while it is in progress. haha. Edit: and you proved my point, Halifax isn't the junior hockey hotbed it is made out to be. Thye draw well though, but if it were this so called "hotbed", tomorrow would be sold out.

I've already established this in a different post. That player by the way was Mathieu Biron.

Keys to winning Game 7 are now in the Game 6 GDT, Whatever we did that worked today one of them is staying disciplined. I hope we get some more of the 2nd line back for Game 7.
