Whats the deal on Bent ... did he leave the bench to get into that 3rd period fracas ? I didn't see that but that is what the game sheet says ... given a game misconduct.
Does that carry-over ?

First player to leave the bench during a fight is an automatic 1 game suspension. Not entirely sure what happened, but he could have been simply coming on the ice for a change and started mixing it up with someone.

Pretty to watch right from the start. Huge difference having Gadoury and Watt back. Funny we got so many players hurt this series playing a clean team. Moncton must be shitting bricks now. The #2 seed has to go to a game 7 against the lowly Moose. Looks good on them. Steve you like save percentages, how does .667 sound. Anything can happen in a game seven and who knows, we could get smoked. But if what is arguable the best line in the league plays like they did tonight and Garland floats like he does, I like our chances. Tonight our best players where so far ahead of Moncton's best players it was unbelievable. Garland verses Ehlers yea right. Ehlers slowed the game down when he wanted to made other players better. Got slashed and hooked but clearly no penalties are allowed to be called against him. So be it. Good thing for a Moncton PK which was no match to our PP. GO MOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!! It sounds brutal ... and he has been brutal for most of this series ... but sensational in the previous series. But some of those early goals were just guys in front of him getting free shots ... and that can't be all on him. Still ... you gotta bail out your team's mistakes. Games 1 and 2 were simply a case of Moncton taking Halifax lightly ... nobody skating ... just lazy ugly hockey. This game was the same ... Fridaý night was pretty easy so todays game should have been a walk ... in their minds anyway. But Friday wasn't easy ... they worked their tails off Friday and were rewarded for it. Not sure why they don't get that. I can't beleive it took them to 6-0 before they started working hard ... and from that point on they outscored Halifax 5-1 ... but that will get you nothing. Watching the game Friday night I saw a good team take us apart. I did not see that team today. It has been a funny series. the only game Moncton looked really dominant was Friday. We could have won one of the first two games in Halifax and maybe the series is over. Tuesday night should be interesting to see which team comes out for Moncton. And which Goalie .

So Gadoury only played on the PP? I thought that's what John Moore said. If so, I hope another day off will have him ready for Tuesday. Hope Fortier will be back as well. Funny how important Watt has become and how well he has played. I slagged him at the beginning of the season, but I was obviously wrong about him. Hats off you to Vince.

I think he joined Ehlers in taunting Beaton by the Wildcats bench but nothing more than that. I'm sure Dutil and Bedard just wanted to get rid of him to avoid any late game foolishness. It was 7-4, Mooseheads at that point late in regulation.

It happened quick, but my impression was he was coming on the ice for a legal change right when the dust up began and he started to make his way over to start his typical yapping and grab a partner....although i don't think he made it very far. I can see how the ref thought he "left the bench" but I don't think there will be a suspension once it's reviewed. That's my feeling on the matter anyway.

He was on the first PP unit for sure, took a few other shifts here and there but definitely not his usual ice time.

Enough with all the #2 vs #12 bullshit. Anyone who has watched the league this season knows that there is parity top to bottom. Rimouski is head as shoulders above the rest IMO, but after that it's anyone's game. Any team can win on any given night. This has made for an exciting series, and an exciting playoffs as a whole. Can't wait for Tuesday night!

Didn't you have this hissy fit earlier? yes any team can win on any given night, but over the course of 7 games one would expect the higher rank team to come out on top most of the time...

It would be a big upset if the Mooseheads were to win this series.

Wildcats got jobbed for the refs.
Great to see the Moosheads just need 1 game! Get er one!
Can't wait for this series to be over regardless of the outcome, no more SteveUL needing to be on moosetalk! Next up for him would be the forum, Legaltalk.

One of the first Sunny Sunday a lot of people out enjoying that may hurt your walk up crowd. To be honest you can analyze the ticket purchasing behaviours but I think it's pretty simple.
1 We just came off 3 really great seasons, don't have to explain that, People lost interest or it's not a novelty it was before of playoff success.
2 A lot of fans who wanted to watch the great runs live, missed play-off tickets. Now they don't bother. Kinda peoples way to saying screw you.
But your right its kinda sad that it won't sell out. Pisses me off if they win Tuesday the tickets will sell out for the next round.

Game sevens are never easy to predict but at least the Moose can have confidence in knowing they won all the games in Moncton. I agree goaltending is a deal breaker with one goalie possible last game in junior for incentive.
Gadoury back only in part but the threat of him on the ice is enough to make a contribution. PP gets a boast. Watt a nice surprise. Last but not least Vuic, showed flashes before but perfect timing for Jean Jacket performance. The slight comeback could be good for both teams though, confidence for Moncton and reminder for Halifax, never over.
