That had to be the loudest that building has been since the 2010 finals against SJ and might have even been pretty close in volume. Great to see. I'm interested in what kind of crowds come for the next 2 games. Obviously a game 7 is going to bring out a different crowd. Lots of people last night there checking out their first game of the year. Hope that performance brings them back. Side note: Brian Gallant was in the building last night in his custom jersey. Hope he enjoyed the nice warm temperatures the coliseum provides

Thursday/Saturday afternoon won't be nearly as good as a potential Friday night/Saturday night combo. Pretty fitting end to the series with Ehlers falling on the at center ice and no one within 20 feet of him.

I was pretty close, predicted 5-2 and it finished 6-3, the empty net goals on each side killed my prediction. Not sure what Dubeau was doing on the 3rd Halifax goal...

Was at the box office at 10:30 or so & there was about 40 people in line buying tickets for next round. Should be decent crowds, I'd think.

Ahh then why was it in the Halifax game 7 thread? I should have quoted the previous posts about how the crowds will be vs Quebec.

What an amazing atmosphere last night!!!! I wish I could have brought my kids...just too pricey for all of us to go....I volunteered to go on behalf of the family and bring back "results" I'm guessing the next two games will be 4500 if we are lucky. Great time last night. I would like to reiterate the respect each team showed one another once the buzzer sounded. One of many reasons I would have liked my kids to see such sportmanship after what was a heated, and intense battle. Keep it going boys. I hate having no hockey!!! Far more interested in the Q playoffs than any NHL series.... Go Cats Go!

Usually the attendance for playoffs in Moncton goes something like this:
3000-3500 for first round (with those numbers increasing if it's a game 6/7 scenario)
4000-5000 for second round (again with a spike in attendance for a Game 6 or 7)
5000+ for third round (or sellout if Sidney Crosby is playing)
sellout of near sellout for the finals.
It's been pretty consistent that way with few exceptions... '98 was great first round crowds since it was the first playoff appearance and more tickets were still being given out. '04 against Rimouski sold out because of Crosby. '06 was packed due to it being the Memorial Cup season.
The Thursday/Saturday afternoon schedule will chip away at attendance a bit... but I'd still bet it's in the 5000 range on Thursday... and higher on Saturday... especially if the Cats draw first blood.

Quebec has always been a good draw in Moncton ... but moreso because of the P Roy factor.
