Hopefully Winnipeg can extend the series, and maybe he can get into a game. Tough series to make your NHL debut, the last game in particular was nuts.

Yes ... fatigue for sure. But he won't play 35-40 mins so getting a handful of shifts won't matter too much.

There are probably a dozen flights to Toronto from YHZ that leave through the day ... he could probably be in Winnipeg by lunch time. I can get a flight out of Halifax at 3:30 today and be in Winnipeg before game time ... today. If he left this morning he is probably already there. If he was leaving from Moncton he could still get there in plenty of time. I expect they had this all pre-arranged just waiting for the outcome of last nights game.

I am not saying it is impossible ... just that it is tight. He would have to be in Winnipeg at least a couple of hours prior to game time in order to get ready ... and that would already be foregoing a pre-game skate, or any kind of practice to familiarize himself with potential linemates or systems. I doubt he plays tonight - maybe later in the series if they manage to extend it.

They said he wasn't going to play in the article.
Apparently they were getting picked up by the billets at 1:30 AM in Cole Harbour. After playing tense games 2 of the last 3 nights including last night (and the 14 playoff game run in general), it would be tough to expect anything from him if he were to play an NHL playoff game against the Ducks tonight across the country. If they asked how he felt, he'd probably say he's ready to jump in... but I think those in charge probably recognize a few days off would benefit him and probably the Jets. Of course, it may be too late. But at least he will be exposed to the type of game and effort he will be expected to be ready for next year, even with a loss.

At least he gave it his all for the Mooseheads maybe even knowing that if the Moose were done he could head to the NHL.

I doubt he sees any ice but it'll be a great experience for him nonetheless.

Main reason Nik went to Winnipeg according to the article was to discuss his futute with the Jets for now, I think its highly unlikely he'll be back but I guess you never know they sent Morrinsey back to Junior at 19.

I guess we've seen the last of Ehlers, I'd say there is no way he'll be back here next season, but what a treat it would be if he was.
There'll be a lot of disappointed kids (and adults for that matter) at tomorrow night's fan farewell.

Is he allowed to play for Denmark? He is a "signed". Same with Timo he could play for the Swiss. See how well he plays with men. If he plays well he could go higher.
