I wonder whether he has a deal with Halifax or they are pulling an Erne. I assume they would only move up to take him if they think they can get him to show That's former Moosehead Garrett Peters team he played for, and Peters is a US based scout for Halifax so I'm gonna say they're pretty certain he'd report. He coached them too before moving to coach in another organization this year. www.halifaxmooseheads.ca/article/moose-tracks--garrett-peters

Wow, O'Leary it is. I guess I was wrong about waiting until the 7th round for him. Hope they have some kind of assurance that he is interested in showing up. Too high of a pick to waste on a kid that won't show so lets hope they can convince him. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=195036

That's exactly what happened. Whether or not he was actually Moncton's guy would be the question. I wonder whether he has a deal with Halifax or they are pulling an Erne. I assume they would only move up to take him if they think they can get him to show Moncton is always a threat to grab any decent american available. Of course if Putintsev was Moncton's guy, they got back at us in short order by taking O'Leary

Plays hard. Power forward. Wants to win. Strong board player, loves to be in the crease. Skating has vastly improved since going to the US.

Ethan Crossman: very good skater, shields the puck well. Vision at best when behind the net. Wicked shot. Could very well be the "steal" of the draft.
Alex Lavoie: two way defence-man. Active stick, has a physical edge. Very reliable and mobile.

At this point, they might as well swing for the fences and draft Dawe too. He and Crossman seem like good friends.

Moves the puck well. Makes quick decisions. Plays physical in his own zone.

Two picks until Moncton is up. Do they take Bouthillier if he is still available? Don't seem to keen on drafting a goalie. they seem to waste a lot of mid round picks on mediocre goalies.
