Askew doesn't skate well enough ... I say he gets passed over.
However, he has nice hands and is gaining confidence ... and a breakout year next season is almost expected. If he plays with Garland he could be a 30+ goal scorer.

If he plays with Garland he could be a 30+ goal scorer. His main weakness is grit and intensity. The effort level disappears for long periods of time. This was a team desperate for scoring depth but he didn't really step up.

NHL teams have an obsession with size. That should help him out greatly.

NHL teams have an obsession with size. That should help him out greatly. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody takes a chance in round 6 or 7. Not a big risk at that point. Same for Garland.
