If the Sea Dogs are trying hard for our #4, does that mean Bathurst has pulled their #2 off the table? I would seriously consider it if the deal included MacDove-Falls,Smallman and picks 8 and 9. If Shane Bowers is still available at #4, I would be surprised if there is not a trade made with Saint John. I would not trade him for less than the 9 & 10 picks plus 2 forwards, one of which should be an 18y/o. I think he is that good a player to demand that. The only problem is that our need for 3rd and 4th line depth, combined with the keen negotiating skills of Saint John, I'm somewhat doubtful we get that. Also, with this team contending for a championship, you would think we would have scouts capable of obtaining at least one quality bottom six forward via free agency. What else can one say about the Saint John administration, other than outstanding. fortunate

Umm...we always get fed the line every year at the Xmas trade window about how trades involving "futures" have to be trades that at least semi stand alone as a legit trade. Thus why we see for example Deluca get sent to Drummondville for a 1st round placeholder pick, instead of say a 14th round pick. Thus can someone explain how CB trading a 5th round pick to Val D'Or for a 12 round pick makes sense?
I know it would have been part of some other deal/condition but optically it's a terrible looking trade, which I thought was what was supposed to be avoided.

it's the completion of the Anderson trade Thanks. Should have known that lol. However my point still stands. Aren't these things supposed to stand alone as a legit looking trade? A 5th for a 12th doesn't look good regardless. Like shouldn't VD have to have thrown in something like some player that they considered a flop and isn't in their plans anymore to ever be on their team that was like a former 7th round pick or something just to make it look more fair even though in reality it still is just a 5th for a 12th. P.s. JACK BAUER stop ignoring my message lol

Still no trades in the top four picks. Unless that changes it should be: 1. SJ - Veleno, 2. BAT - Morand, 3. Vic - Comtois, 4. CB - Bowers.

I heard it's a 2nd with Fournier and not a 3rd. Six - Two...185 lbs ......Can he scrap ? He is the brother of Stefan and Dillon. He plays a lot like Stefan, big RW winger who shoots left with an edge and pretty good skill. Could be drafted in the later rounds of the NHL draft.

I'm a big Fournier fan, his stats don't do him justice.

Le Titan n'échangera pas son 2e choix au total. Antoine Morand deviendra une sélection du Titan et Maxime Comtois, un Tigre. #LHJMQ
Says Titan are picking Morand, Tigres Comtois so that means Bowers is 100% available at 4 barring any trades.
