I hope this young man recuperates completely from these injuries and can fully enjoy his post JR hockey life.

It's a shame. You need players like him on a team. I wish him the best in his future.

Heard it from a pretty good source over a month ago but was hoping they were wrong. I would say it gives Sam LeBlanc a good shot at an OA spot now. He could be like our Charles Bety from 2010-2011.

Thank you Ryan for a great career and for being an integral part of bringing 2 banners to the MC in 2013. I can only imagine what it felt like to be on the ice in the last minute against Portland and helping Nate seal that Mem Cup championship.

Hope all the best for Falkenham. He has some great memories from his hockey career. I am sure hockey is not a priority anymore. I sure he just wants to make sure he can walk around without any help the rest of his life. Good luck Ryan.

Terrible to see one person go through this but for one team to have 2, Lewis, seems Impossible. Also heard it was going to happen this summer too.

Just an all-around classy person. Will be missed from this year's team. In our Memorial Cup run, he was the one running around blocking shots. The type of player every hockey team needs. Hope he can recover fully and lead a healthy, pain-free life.

Absolute warrior, and in an era that saw players like MacKinnon, Drouin, Frk, Ehlers, Meier, etc. Falkenham will always be remembered as the hardest working player and a true captain.
I can only hope there will be more in the same mould to don the Moosehead jersey. Good luck in the future Falks.

It's too bad. But at least he knew in October and decided to play 1 last year with the Mooseheads before going back under the knife. You could tell last year he really didn't have any jump/explosiveness and kind of laboured around the ice.
I think you'll see D Moynihan, Bent and Brassard as our OA's next year.

That is a real shame, I hope everything goes well with the surgery , the poor kid's had a rough go of it. This not all doom and gloom ... many on here are speaking like his career is done. He'll take a year off ... work hard at his rehab ... and have a solid career in the CIS. Any school would be happy to have a guy like him on their team.
