Hasn't he recently committed to a school? John Marino was drafted by Edmonton in the 6th round and committed to Harvard for the 2016-2017 season.

Can't go wrong with a Harvard education. Marino shouldn't risk doing the Jesse Lane route

Can't go wrong with a Harvard education. Marino shouldn't risk doing the Jesse Lane route Its the person not the education. People make Harvard, not Harvard making the people.

Not sure if you are quoting something or being serious. But the same person could graduate from Harvard or BC. The Harvard degree is what people would notice.

The Harvard degree is what people would notice. The person will succeed in any case, if they have the will/smarts to be accepted, they are not taking random people off the street. Not like people cant do well going different routes, even Yale. www.sbncollegehockey.com/2015/6/10/8758431/nhl-draft-john-marino-switches-commitment-harvard-yale-decommit-south-shore-kings-usphl-ted-donatoI know how the degree gets the attention, I just see people pumping it up as if the person would be nothing if they dont go there. It gets too much hype in Canada for my liking as if we dont get enough American influence already.
