I'm 6'-6'1" on good days and didn't mind the seats too much. Our cup holders were on the back of the seats (sect 7). Like to thank the Scotiabank Centre for curing my raging alcoholism with the $8.25 beers. Cups seemed a little bigger, but.... c'mon! No drinking kept me out of the bathrooms so I can't comment there. Its going to be a long year. As good as Timo is, we're going to be starving for goals. Knowing we're the 2nd youngest team in the league softens the blow. As long as the boys are putting a good effort in, I'll suffer through the season and enjoy watching some solid competition roll through. Every time I see Crossley play, I think whomever drafted him as high as they did should be slapped. Me thinks there was some serious politics there. Oh well. I seem to have at least one whipping boy per year. Strange. I am in Sec 7 Row G and my cup holder was on the arm of the chair. I wonder if they have two different types of seats in there. The seats were very hard on the arse as well, my Son who is a big kid had to go and walk around during intermission to get out of the seats. Oh well. I guess we have to live with them. It won't be pleasant for me.

I am thinking. I wonder if the seats in the lower bowl in the lower section have different seats then the upper section of the lower bowl. The railings are now removed from the centre of the sections, but my seats are sitting on like aluminum or metal or something. I think the lower section is still removable like they used to be. If the upper section of the lower bowl have more leg room, I may actually ask to move my seats.

Only Trade Centre Limited could do such a disastrous job.

Only Trade Centre Limited could do such a disastrous job. I was thinking the same thing ... ask Mr Ferguson to leave his box and sit his arse in these new seats for a game. Damn, the 25 year old orange seat with the 24 year old wad of gum now doesn't seem so bad.

I would like to know what some thought of Morand last night. I know he did not get a star like Maher and Kuznetsov did......

I would like to know what some thought of Morand last night. I know he did not get a star like Maher and Kuznetsov did...... I was impressed- didn't look like a 16 year old rookie and was a bit bigger than I figured he was. If there were four stars he would have been the 4th star. Pickard got the first star and deservedly so.

Thought Popov was a punk. Running around like a tough guy. Bathurst were taking runs at Putintsev. I guess he will have to contend with that, but he is strong so hopefully he will get the feel of it and be able to stand his ground. I see Bathurst is still pretty cheap. Couldn't afford to put an apostrophe in L'italien's name on his jersey. haha.

Popov is one of the most improved player on the team this season start. Also he is not worried about facing the music. You will have to get used to a much tougher Titan this season.... It will be my pleasure

You message board Moose fans should all get together and form a basketball team with your six foot plus tall selves. Seems to be a lot of ya.

Just keep in mind that for the most part we all let you off easy while your team was stinking up the league. If you choose to talk shit now, what goes around comes around.

Impressions from last night, chronologically:
- Three downstairs bathrooms have been combined into one downstairs bathroom, three times as big. I fail to see this as being an improvement. Over/under on the date that someone decides to use one of those giant bidet sinks as a urinal is set at September 25th, 9:08pm. Takers?
- Liked what I got from the 2 Doors Down rotating booth, with the brisket taco. $10 is steep for anything at a QMJHL game, but it was big and filling. I'd be interested to see how many $15 lobster rolls sold. Other food notes from my party of gourmands: donair tasty but tiny, noodle dish "too spicy" for someone who can't handle spiciness (but a sizeable portion nonetheless), $6 sausage a way better deal than $7.50 hotdog.
- Seats are cozy... a little too cozy. As has already been mentioned, those who are taller than 6' are in for a long season (although I do look forward to having S-shaped legs by the end of the season. A touch narrower, but I think that is because the armrests are a bit wider, rather than their trying to pack any more seats in.
- Taillefer has been on the team for more the better part of two years; has no highlight in the introductory montage. Speaking of the montage, kudos for keeping it in colour the whole time; previous incarnations where it faded to grey reminded me of a war-dead montage.
- Putintsev is going to have to keep his head up, or he is going to be on IR before September is out. Railroaded three times (twice by Dumolong) before the game was five minutes old.
- Something something great Corsi something something hit the net some time.
- I know what 20oz looks like; that ain't 20oz. Bringing a measuring cup next game.
- I thought Somppi looked very strong on the puck; there were a couple instances of him carrying the puck along the boards and out of the corner where he was doing an excellent job fending off defenders.
- I think we just saw the first and last instance of bubble hockey.
- You know it's a snoozer of a game when half of the highlight montage before the third period is of the aforementioned bubble hockey.
- Going to be some long games this year, but there's no getting around it. Rebuild is now.
- So long orange seat night; enter Navy Night (with nary a sailor to be seen?)

Horrible game last night, Play was sloppy the boys couldn't get anything going. My Take I like the new seats, far more comfortable; Bathrooms are also nice better flow, I like that they widened the Concourse Better traffic flow, Concessions are a bit more pricey but what do you expect just don't go often.

I would like to know what some thought of Morand last night. I know he did not get a star like Maher and Kuznetsov did...... Was easy to see why Morand went #2 overall. Good size, Centered the top line and did not look at all out of place. His goal was a perfect shot off a rebound, no hesitation. He is a great skater and has high hockey IQ. The have a bright future with Morand front and center. Blanchard was a monster on the PK, he looks to have gained a step over the summer, great skater. You guys finally have a group of young players who want to play there. No more veterans who were traded away from their buddies and have no interest in playing in a Titan uniform. That kind of attitude from your veterans is toxic, and really, it was never the veterans fault. Who would want to finish your career on a bottom 5 team? So yea, smart asset management finally, it's good to see.
