At least Bowers and Hoyt and maybe more. I would be surprised if Moncton trades Garland this year (not sure whether Garland would even report anywhere else), they should trade some players but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually added to try and compete. Lol I hope you're joking. Maybe we could throw in Dubois? If Dumont traded Hoyt and Bowers for Garland he should be fired on the spot. Not a joke. That's the price you have to pay to get a star player. At 18 he won the scoring race by a 27 point margin. Bowers at this point isn't worth the 4th pick, he won't show up so his value decreases. I like that CB is playing it tough with him but there is no way his value stays where it should be based on his talent because the kid is already playing in the USHL and easily could go the NCAA route. There would probably have to be a pick coming with Bowers that Moncton could keep if he doesn't show up like what happened when Moncton got Matheson's rights. If CB does try to add those are the two guys teams will want (Bowers probably only if you are dealing with Moncton, Halifax, Saint John or maybe Quebec) so better get prepared that one or both are not on CB next year if there are trades made by CB. Contending teams in most cases have to give up their best young assets to get good players that can fill holes. I doubt Moncton even trades him anyway

Not saying I would do it...but if i'm a Moncton fan that's my price as well. More realistically it'd be something like Hoyt OR Bowers, a 2016 1st or a future, and another 2nd/3rd round pick type of asset.

Kind of random and irrelevant but has anyone else noticed the goal horn or lack there of the last couple of home games?
There have been a couple of goals where it didn't go off at all and on most goals there is a 3-5 second delay and then it goes off for all of a split second like when the Tim bits score during the intermissions.
I don't know it just seems like a bit of a atmosphere killer to me. Not that it matters lol goals are goals.

Seems like everything is kinda messed up, 2 songs playing at the same time, songs cutting off goal announcements, pretty amateurish.

Best goal horn in the league. I wish they'd figure it out.

I'm thinking 4 high end assets ... and 3 of them having 1st or early 2nd value. So ... a 1st, Bowers, Hoyt and say a 3rd. Your 1st (if you still have it) will be 15-18 probably so not as attractive as somebody offering a pick that could be top 5. Bowers is not likely to show up this year ... devalues him. He is probably back as a 20 YO unless he tops his numbers from last year. If he gets picked by team USA he is probably not back next year.

I value Bowers (if reporting) as being worth 2 firsts + so no way am I giving the value of 3 firsts ++ for him at Xmas for a couple months of Garland

What happened to the GDT for tonight's game? Deleted because of non sense. Might as well continue this one and focus JUST on the game. Expect another dirty game I'll say 4-2 eagles.

Just looking at the statistics, the Eagles powerplay is only running at 9%, that is ridiculous considering the talent on those 2 units.
Also the PK is pretty bad @ 77%.
Definitely lots of room for improvement.

Yep. No excuse for our PP. That has to change. Especially considering games this this against Moncton where you know special teams are most likely going to be the story of the game.
2 for 7 last game and I believe one of those goals were a 5 on 3.
0 for 4 against Halifax and 1 for 4 against Bathurst the game before that.
3 for 15 in the past 3 games doesn't cut it. Luckily they were wins however.

Definitely lots of room for improvement. I also agree that the power play has to be better. Hopefully the boys will start clicking. I expect Belanger to get the start again.

Definitely lots of room for improvement. Those pk numbers must have improved over the past few games though. Main reason they beat Halifax was their pk. As for PP, I think it comes with a bit of time. Levielle seems to have taken the roll of getting pucks to the net from the point. If Dumont picks up a defenseman at the deadline, hopefully it's a guy who loves to run the powerplay yet is good defensively. Those types of players are hard to come by.
