I just found out that Les Stoodley passed away this afternoon after battling leukemia for 2 years.
He was a great guy that was really appreciated during his time with the Wildcats and everywhere he went.
He will be missed. RIP

That's terrible news. Condolences to his family. His interviewing skills were second to none...

One of the first broadcasters I met in the Q, and one that I looked forward to watching/hearing online as I followed teams around the league. Such a distinctive set of pipes and a long-time love and knowledge of NB hockey.

If anybody hasn't seen it, Neil Hodge wrote an excellent piece on Les Stoodley in Wednesday's T&T. Quotes from Danny Flynn, Marty Kingston , Tim Roszell, Graham Black, and Hodge himself.
There will be a video tribute and moment of silence at the next home game.
