What about Brassard from the Mooseheads ? Looking for a low to no cost option ... we already wasted a 4th on Fortin.

Correct, he's playing with the Weeks Crushers in the MHL. How can he be playing midget at 19 YO? CHSB, I think you're confusing the MHL and the NBPEIMMHL.

The Cats started with Dupre but changed him in the second. Neither goalie look impressive.

I think last night's carousal is a good indicator they need to make a move...

There was a couple of weak goals from both goaltenders but we were also weak on defense last night. I think we thought we had already won the game before it started.

Besides what would be the point for a non contending team to pay through the roof? Brassard Billia Guidon Bouchard Montembeault Some are most costly than others but guys like Brassard and Bouchard wouldn't be overly expensive. Brassard = 2nd/3rd + prospect Bouchard = 3rd And then you also have free agent options. At this point in time , I'd gamble and try to add a free agent and use that 20 year old slot on a solid defenseman. And I don't know what you mean by AFFORD ? I think our two first rounders next season would net us any of those tenders I mention.

the blame can't all go toward the goalies! sweeney and guay were both -3. a 20 yo and a 19 yo should be doing a better job defending.

Bathurst are on a nice little run and here comes the troll out of the woodwork. Dknt worry they will go on a losing streak and he will disappear again.

the blame can't all go toward the goalies! sweeney and guay were both -3. a 20 yo and a 19 yo should be doing a better job defending. If the goaltender can't stop the puck ... everybody on the ice is going to have bad +/-. He has to be expected to make some saves ... and the good ones will stop 90% of shots. All the bad ones on Fortin are above his shoulders. he doesn't battle through screens and I have seen so many goals go in where he just didn't see it. He has to adjust to the screens but he just parks there and doesn't move. Compared to Dubeau and how he battled through screens, Fortin is asleep in the net. Dupre is a backup and thats where he works best ... no blame on him. He needs an experienced guy to learn from, and Fortin has no real experience. Fortin has the 19th best GAA and the 17th best Sv%. That is fine for a rebuilding team ... fine for a 17 YO rookie ... but not fine for a 20 YO on a 1st place team. Its terrible ... and has to change.

I didn't see the puck hitting him but I saw him sliding along the ice. He was really out.
