Didn't see the game against the Islanders but I see that Jason Rioux backed up Mann-Dixon....is Rioux staying? Nope, Dupre is hurt.

For my two cents worth, I have only seen Mann-Dixon in two games but I love his composer, doesn't seem to get rattled, great controls not many rebounds, when I first seen him I thought he was far to small, but he is always in the right place and fights for any loose pucks, impressed with what I have seen.

I fear that a team that can move the puck around well will really pick him apart. He makes that first save because he gets right out at the top of the crease ... plays his angles well ... and does a good job controlling rebounds. But if you can move the puck well then you can force him to play deeper and his size will fail him.

I would be shocked if they don't add a goalie at midseason...unless they decide to sell and move Garland, Sweeney and co

Eric Brassard from the Moose will win the team games. Guindon would also be a big upgrade.

Eric Brassard from the Moose will win the team games. We have two little goaltenders that can win games ... if we are going for it we need one that can win a championship. We saw Brassard in last year's playoffs and he was hot and cold. Game 7 I seem to remember cold.

Chicoutimi just picked up McCallum from Bathurst, I figure Bilia is in play. He would be a huge upgrade and can be traded for assets next Christmas.

Bilia is probably the only player out there that I'd be willing to consider giving up Victoriaville's 1st round pick for. Definitely has the potential to be a big time game changer.

Meloche might also be out there, only 18 and would make a huge impact. There was a rumor Chicoutimi was willing to move N.Roy, but he's had a nice break out season though...

McCallum wouldn't go to Bathurst, why would he go to Chicoutimi? Maybe he won't. He went to Bathurst... he played 4 games I can't see him going to Chicoutimi unless he's unhappy with splitting time in Summerside... but for an 11th round pick it's merely an insurance policy if they trade Billia...

I wonder if the Cats have looked at Austin Lotz. Another WHL tender that Medicine Hat released. Looks good statistically.

Asset management wise it just doesn't make sense. If you remove Kosack or Sweeney you have to replace them and potentially add another top pairing dman on top of that. They are better off saving assets to add a guy like Billia and keeping Kosack/Sweeney/Johnson. Kosack fits really well here and is really developing some chemistry with Garland.
