probably would be a decent pick but I would still prefer a big power forward with the skillset of Dubois who could also play center / I also liked the play of Green on D last night who hopefully improved his draft position

Anyone have highlights to the game? Away from the tv for the day and can't seem to find them online anywhere.

Dubois had good chemistry with Laberge. It was just like Friday Night Hockey, the broadcast crew couldn't stop praising him.

Was watching Leafs Lunch yesterday, and Button said following the top prospects game he would place Dubois in the conversation to go in the top 3. Really excited to see how much his stock rises down the stretch.

if he goes Top 3, his chances of returning to junior hockey will become slimmer.

Really excited to see how much his stock rises down the stretch. I think that's laughable. But it's Craig Button and there's a reason he works for TSN and not an NHL team. If any of the 3 in Europe were playing in the CHL this year there'd be no talk of anyone else going top 3. Dubois is a top 10 talent, but he's not going to bump one of those Fins to 4th.

I'm a huge fan of Laine and I think he's more of a lock for the top 3. When it comes down to Gauthier and Dubois, I think both have top 5 potential but will go in the 7-13 range.

No Button did not say that at all
What he did say was after the top 3 (Matthews and the two finns) he has Dubois in the mix with the rest of the names... meaning he could see him go from 4-10

Dubois any time after that for any Team thinking Forward over Defence or simply taking the Best Player Available .

Acquiring pick #3 would come at a cost that unless it's an Edmonton doing it few other teams have the depth to make it worthwhile.

Nah ..........I think he has passed Tkachuck . Chyhcrun is attractive to a Team who not only covets a Defeceman but is willing to wait a year or so .
