When the checking gets tight in the playoffs, Svechnikov basically stops scoring goals completely, his style isn't really suited for high intensity games or he's having some very bad luck. From an 18% shooter in the regular season to a ridiculously low 5% in the playoffs and just 3 goals in 15 playoff games. He's been getting chances, no puck luck thus far. A play that comes to mind last night was the short-handed 2 on 1 where the puck went through Turcotte and out the other side. Most nights thats through the goalie and in the net. He also has had breakway's in which he's been stopped. It's not like he's been invisible, the puck just isn't going in for him. Hopefully the flood gates open at some point, just something I was thinking about last night, it's kind of odd how in big games the goal scoring disappears for such a talented kid. He's still racking up lots of assists, but I'm sure he knows hes capable of more. Maybe a mental thing, not sure.

I think a part of it is the level of play comes up a notch from a lot of guys this time of year and sometimes elite players take some time to hit the same level which puts them a notch above the rest. That's also a reason why both teams miss guys like Bishop and Joseph so much.

Would be nice to have him between games 3-5, but you never know with him. I remember at the world juniors Svechnikov couldn't score but had a few chances. With any luck the flood gates open like you guys said and he starts filling the net

So why are game 6 tickets already? Also if that game doesn't happen, are they refundable?
