Martineau is that culligan/farrell type guy imo. I think joly may feel a bit snake bitten. He has mised quite a few chances lately Joly looks hurt too he looked like if he puck wasn't on his stick he didn't care I'd give him more of a second coming of Dean Ouellet type player. Smaller is size, ball of energy, can play in any situation and I have never heard anyone say anything bad about him. And honestly as much as I know a lot of you on this board will disagree to no end, I know lots of people who weren't the biggest fans of Kyle Farrell. Myself being one of them as well, but he's gone and I'm not getting into it of why I didn't like him.

Imama would be a big loss for them. He gets his team going with those huge hits. A suspension would be huge for our health. He has been beating our guys up all series. The part of the hit I don't like is how far off the boards bisson was. Too bad for the kid. He was playing with leblanc. I had him as our third best defensemen this series. The distance from the boards probably would have been fine if Imama didn't take those last 2 or 3 strides immediately before hitting him. The fact that he charged effectively made it boarding as well.

A stride or 2 less and he probably takes the body clean without taking a 5 minute penalty that could cost him additional games.

Courtesy of the Eales fb page Any word on the fans that were sitting there? It sounded like a couple of them needed medical treatment. Hopefully nothing too serious.

I was sitting directly across the ice from the smashed glass and the women sitting there appeared to get some in the eye as well as on her head and a buddy of mine sitting a few rows behind her said she was bleeding on the head from a cut. Not positive of her injuries. The poor woman only got to see 13 seconds of the game and never returned to her seat at all hopefully it wasn't too serious.

The difference a day can make. Belanger was great tonight. Huge bounce back game after a rough outing on Monday. And we needed it because Turcotte was phenomenal. Kept the game within reach for his team who looked a lot like we did the night before for huge stretches. Fiore and Martineau with our first 2 goals. Probably our 2 best forwards over the past 2 games. Martineau's goal in front on a rebound was exactly what I was looking for last night...then the floodgates opened a bit for us. Can we carry that into Friday? Joly could have had a hat trick with all the chances he had in close...couldn't buy one tonight. Imama's hit at full speed was violent. It was a major penalty. It caused what could have been a major injury. Anyone trying to sell it as anything close to clean is delusional. You can't hit a player 3 feet from the boards directly into the boards head first and it be legal. 3 games would seem about right. But I predict he gets 2. Might be a bit longer he just came off a 15 game suspension they won't go easy on him

Well, congtats to the fan on the SeaDogs blog who predicted that Imama would hurt someone in this series, you were bang on the money. I had a lot of respect for the Sea Dogs and the classy way they ran their organization, but to condone a goon running around like that, there is no place for that in any sport. There is a big difference between an enforcer and a goon, this guy falls into the goon category and his list of suspensions supports that.I am also a big supporter of clean, hard hittinf hockey, but that hit certainly does not fall into that category.I sure hope the Bisson kid is allright, don't like to see an 18 year old kid or any kid injured unnecessarily.

Anyone pick up on the reginato/leveille altercation at the end of the game? Seemed to me more personal than the average scrum/roughing minors. Loik looked somewhat humbled after the linesmen broke it up.

I am not going to waste my time to search through all posts but I think it was an Eagles fan that said Imama was going to hurt someone and if it was a Sea Dogs fan that said it why would you lose respect for the way the organization is ran because some fan condones a dirty hit. That's just like saying All Eagles fans or the organization is dirty or classless when a player on your team does something dirty and another fan condones it. Imama will get what he deserves for the hit. He helps the team when he is playing hard and physical but when he crosses the line he can be dangerous with his size and strength.

Loik looked somewhat humbled after the linesmen broke it up. Started with Bertrand getting a high sticking penalty and when the whistle blew Luke Green went after him, scrum insued and when it was pretty well done Reginato went after Loik. They must not have gotten along here at all cause every game I seen since he went to SJ he's been after Loik trying to get him to fight

Leveille won't fight, he has tgurned away from a fight on a number of occassions,if he did drop the gloves, it would be more of a wrestling match

What a game!
The crowd was ecstatic after the go ahead goal and even more after the Highmore slash. Just an overall great game to attend. The crowd was zapped after stinking up the 5 minute major but to be fair the boys definitely did not have their head in the game right after that disturbing hit from the bull. Any word on Bison?
Martineau crashing the net was beautiful. They need more of that. Crash the net hard and good things will happen. The whole team played great but Fiore ,Martineau and Boucher definitely inject some much needed energy into the team. The whole team had a great bounce back game and Belanger played solid.
* The couple sitting behind the broken glass moved to another section I am fairly sure

Leveille would be tired after the game as he gets a lot of TOI while Reginato plays 4th line for them pretty sure.
