Are you for real? There's no Cape Breton/Mainland/Nova Scotia/Halifax/Maritime/Atlantic Canada logic. It's facts that we're referencing from legitimate sources. Your opinion on what is/is not fair is fine, but does not apply to a scenario where we are addressing facts that a trusted journalist has in print. So, you can continue to be pretentious while trying to belittle me and where I live, but that doesn't change the facts that are being discussed. You had your facts completely incorrect yet think your opinion somehow matters because it disagrees with the facts. That must be the Halifax logic in you, eh? I'm sure you can call Chicoutimi up and let them know that a trade they negotiated is not remotely fair. Maybe you can work with them to get the terms adjusted. It's both hilarious and very petty watching people turn to personal attacks on an entire region because they disagree with a trade between 2 Q teams that they do not cheer for....and mostly because they didn't bother to read up on the terms of the deal before commenting on what the terms are. No point in continuing on here, you're very plainly in the wrong. So you can have the last word and try to save some face in a discussion that's gone downhill pretty quickly since you were badly exposed at how informed you were before bothering to discuss that deal and the compensation terms. Yeah I cringed when he took a shot at CB. There are a few on these boards that simply CANNOT just admit or apologize when they are wrong... just say "holy shit, sorry. That seemed too much to me but I was wrong". Whether it was too much in his opinion has no impact on whether it's true lol. As Neil DeGrasse Tyson says, "The great thing about science is that it's true whether you want to believe it or not" I can see it if i'm shooting my mouth off with zero facts to back it up. But I provided the article i've been referencing for a week now. Copy and posted the important paragraph. Bolded it. And underlined the exact years/picks. And now...I apparently have my head up my ass as the ignoring of the facts and terms continues lol...some people...

We have picks to jump start it no matter who is back. We could have 3 1st rounders without trading any roster players if we choose to do so. You can have 2 but there is no way you get Chicoutimis first for Comp of the whole Ranger thingy. It was the 19th pick overall the league won't give you guys the 9th pick for that slash 10th if you drop Bowers. Your looking more around there 2nd round pick. It's crazy to think other wise. The key is who makes the choice. It appears to be Cape Breton's, therefore the 9th overall would be the better choice. If it were Chicoutimi's choice, then the 2 2nd's would be the better option. They may also decide to roll the dice on Chicoutimi's 1st for next year.

The full deal was: 2015-06-05 Chicoutimi Cape Breton Ranger, Alexandre (1995-08-18) Rd_3, #50, 2015 Cape Breton Chicoutimi Rd_1, #19, 2015 Rd_2, #36, 2015 Rd_3, #55, 2015 Pick 19 and 36 for Pick 9 really isn't that crazy but please stat man enlighten us some more with your knowledge. There no way that remotely fair. That is how ever fair with their 26 and 27 picks. I guess we're using Cape Breton math slash logic there eh? Maybe we should appoint an independent commission to evauluate the fairness of trades and veto them if it seems unfair to the other team that agreed to said provisions.

I've have there is no way you will get the Chi 1st rounder it a top 10 pick for what was a pick that really should have been a 2nd rounder. Man...just stop making a fool of yourself and let me do your google work for you.... thechronicleherald.ca/sports/1303915-cape-breton-screaming-eagles%E2%80%99-ranger-signs-pro-deal-likely-to-play-in-echlShould Ranger not play in the Q this season, the Screaming Eagles will receive either a first-round pick in 2016 or 2017, or two second-round picks in 2016 from the Sagueneens. Cape Breton will activate one of those options following the season if Ranger doesn’t come back. Please refrain from quoting articles that are written by..............."SCABS" !

Willy's walking a Picket Line . The Chronicle Herald has brought in SCABS to keep the Paper running . He has kept his Twitter Account active and still is passing on his opinion on everything Q . He is also doing a real good job of putting a face to the name of these people who are stealing his job and his co-workers .

Am I the only one that is somewhat encouraged by this article? In my opinion the option was there for him to authoritatively shut down the prospect of coming to Cape Breton, or reiterate his commitment to the NCAA. Instead, he notes that he is still considering his options. Seeing Dubois consistently ranked inside the top 10 for the upcoming draft might have resonated with him a bit. He would most likely get first line minutes here next year, potentially alongside Dubois. You would have to think this would be intriguing for a guy entering his draft year.

It might not mean anything but he also said said he missed home alot in the article. I really think now there is no way we drop him and get the compensation pick. Ita either he reports, we trade him or he doesnt come at all.

It would certainly be good news for Eagles fans if Bowers decides to play for Cape Breton. I've been told he is a very nice kid, well mannered. I fully believe that if he is in an Eagles uniform next year, that he will be committed to playing here and will be fun to watch. On a side note, I wonder if the Eagles might try and get Keenan MacIsaac from Chicoutimi in part of the Ranger deal. I may be corrected, but I think him and Bowers played together and probably are friends.
