While I'm hoping for the best, this game could go either way so I hope everyone is emotionally prepared for either outcome. If the outcome doesn't go our way, let's show the Bulldogs the same respect that Mississauga Majors' fans showed the Sea Dogs in 2011. They deserve applause and respect either way. I'm not sure how long you stuck around, but after the handshakes the Bulldogs stayed on the ice. They waited for the right moment and then saluted the fans, not just their own fans that made the trip but it was clear that it was for all fans, mainly the SJ fans. They got a good cheer too. I asked the guys next to me from Sarnia if that's common. They said not at all. So yeah, to whatever extent I care about the OHL, the Bulldogs are now my favorite team.

I was quite impressed with the Bulldogs for sticking around. McTavish stayed right up until the MVP trophy award. But I did like the moment where they saluted the crowd and everyone around me was clapping them as they went down the tunnel. The might have played hard, and a little dirty during the game, but they've got respect for not skating down the tunnel instantly after the hand shakes.

It would be interesting to see the TOI cause it looked like McTavish was on the ice the whole time.
