Somethings got to give it's been 5 years since they made the playoffs. I know it's only Nov but it's inching it's way towards December, they need to make the playoffs this year. My life has changed a lot the last few years so I know longer watch like I used to although I consider myself a Sens fan still. They could use a guy like Edmundson on D, veteran to stabilize things in your own end and make forwards pay the price, plus he has a cup ring and another finals appearance.

I guess the question is, is Edmundson still that player, or have the injuries left him a lesser version of his former self?

With the issues in Toronto on the backend, would they have interest in Edmundson?

After finishing the road trip strong the Sens start a home and home with the Rangers tonight and Fri in New York, before hosting San Jose on Sat. Let's keep the winning streak going and move up the standings boys as Dec approaches.

I don't cheer for The Senators but with The Eagle and Q connections to the Team , I would like to see them succeed . I watched most of the Game Tonight against the League's #1 Boston Bruins and I think it's safe to say without Cam Talbot's performance(49 Saves) this game never sees Overtime and a Shootout . So many breakdowns in their own end and at times The Bruins looked like they were on a PP while 5 on 5 . I was glad to see the Senators get the 2 points for their Goalie .

They never showed enough last season to think they were ready for a DeBrincat move. They still lack of the fundamentals of how to play as a team and we're seeing that its not necessarily their goaltenders as much as the team system hanging them out to dry. Guys like Chabot never had great mentors and I think its showing now in the fact that they don't know how to find a higher gear to even compete for a playoff spot.

6-2 Win over Toronto last night in TO, right back at it against Montreal. Sens are trending in the right direction lately.

Huge strides by the Sens this year things might finally be on the upswing even if it's been a few years since they made the playoffs we didn't finish dead last this year. Thursday night is their final game I don't follow hockey as much on TV anymore didn't realize till last night the regular season was almost over.
