I found it almost laughable watching the QB play up his injury for the cameras - then go out and run like a deer - then back to the same act over the entire game. That mobile QB 3 weeks off a high ankle sprain was definitely playing it up. No pain at all. Not even after being tackled by the ankles right before the half. 100% playing it up. Because only good ol Canadian farm boys actually play sports through pain, eh.

I'm still surprised that nobody here is harping about the Chiefs' name and the choice of music played on a Super Bowl game. You could clearly hear the same rally chants the Cataractes use. Someone clearly is here harping on it, though. You may, just a little bit, want to educate yourself so you stop coming off as a baby boomer who thinks pushing talking points he thinks are "woke" is the discussion to have the day after an excellent football game. If you actually genuinely wanted to discuss things like that you'll find someone here willing to do it. But you don't even understand what you're talking about here and you seem to think every "woke" change like team names are all falling under the same category. Keep being on the wrong end of history and change...and completely shitting on one of the best football games we've seen played. It's a great look.

I always revert to what leafs1967 said to you when he put you in your place - "Jack spews off on the negative - because it's who he is". . . I'm spewing off on someone being an asshole. You brought up the name thing twice and cried nobody took the bait. I stand by my comment...if you wanted a normal discussion you'd find people here to have it. You want no part of that AND want to add on the Don Cherry commentary about Mahomes which just shows how much of an idiot you really are because you actually did believe he was faking it. Happy to spew off on the negativity of a baby boomer showing his age on top of his ignorance.

That scramble by Mahomes at the end of the game - you could tell he was in pain doing that as while he got the yards you could tell he was in pain doing it.

I could care less if people respond to my posts or not. It's a message board. The use of words like idiot and asshole from an Admin shows you for who you are - somebody who isn't fit to be an Admin. Right back at ya. It's an Administrator on a message board. Not an elected representative meant to kiss babys and help old people up the stairs. But keep race baiting and finding humor in it. Thats great character you're showing. Just because "its a message board" doesn't mean the racism or attempts to poke at it are at all funny. But we get it...your generation used to laugh that stuff up to no end. One day you'll realize its not the 1990's any more. And words do matter. So keep pretending you didn't do what you clearly did do but the fact you did it twice is why I have no issue calling it exactly as it is. If you can't see why you have no moral high ground left after your comments nobody here can help you. But feel free to attack my administrator status...that definitely deflects from the conversation you want to have here.

That scramble by Mahomes at the end of the game - you could tell he was in pain doing that as while he got the yards you could tell he was in pain doing it. That game was 21 days after his initial high ankle sprain injury. Thats a 4-6 week minimum injury for many athletes. He played in ton of pain in both the AFC title game and the Super Bowl and clearly re-aggravated it right before half time. Anyone who thinks he was faking and playing it up is just ignorant and wanting to push a certain narrative. As the person lacking a sarcasm detector showed off here and is now upset he actually doesnt have anyone to agree.

I don't know how anybody could say he was faking- I honestly thought we were going to see Henne playing QB in the 2nd half as Mahome's ankle was twisted during that tackle at the end of the 1st half.
His athleticism, and some good stuff from the trainer, got him thru that 2nd half.

I'm not looking to attack anybody. I'm not looking to argue what an Admin should or shouldn't be acting like - but I honestly don't think they should be jumping all over anybody with names like idiot and asshole. I enjoy posting here. It's up-tempo and interesting and I don't want to get banned because a few people don't get or can't understand satire. Life is too short. Bringing up the name thing a 2nd time was 100% officially crossing into asshole status. The fact you now view it as satire is just fucking sad. You just don't get why its 100% inappropriate and not at all funny or something to be now listed as satire in an attempt to dial it down. If you be an idiot here you'll be called an idiot by anyone. If you're an asshole here you'll be called an asshole by anyone. Admins are normal posters here and will absolutely join in the discussion. You clearly don't know your audience here and think your humor can be disguised as satire once people take offense. The more you try defending it the more i'm 100% content with my responses to you. If you can't see where you went wrong here nobody can help you. But it wasn't funny and you missing the sarcasm just proves that.

I'm not a big NFL guy but I do get more into it once the playoffs come around...... and I was especially into this years playoffs for whatever reason
That was a tremendous football game last night..... far and away the most enjoyable Super Bowl i have watched
and Mahomes is a generational talent who was absolutely not faking a damn thing
Hurts was very solid as well... just a great game tho somewhat overshadowed by what my NFL buddies suggest was a very weak call at the end of the game allowing Mahomes to run out the clock.. i do not pretend to know what should or should not be called a penalty in football so I decline to comment on that..... I will say tho that Philly had the chance to win the game and make that late call moot but their overhyped defense was non existent for the second half

They let a lot go and then call that one.

They let a lot go and then call that one. Also questionable whether the ball was catchable even without the penalty. Thats a call you could make on 50% of the plays in a big game. There's some interesting statistics coming out today about how little KC was penalized all playoffs. I believe last night there were 0 penalties against KC that would have been judgment calls by the refs. I made a comment during the game about being glad I had no emotional investment in a game like that. Would be a tough loss today if I was a Philly fan.

I am neither a Chiefs Fan or Eagles Fan but I will say this . That was a weak call . No Sport seems to be affected by Bad Officiating more than Football . Really I am just glad it is all over and we have Pitchers and Catchers reporting in MLB and Hockey is heading down the Stretch to the Playoffs . I could care less about Basketball anymore and Football is slowly getting there .

That was a fantastic game! The call near the end probably could've gone uncalled, but even the player who took the penalty admitted he grabbed the jersey.
Sad my Pats weren't in it, but it was nice enjoying a stress free Superbowl haha!
Good halftime show too. Always low-key liked Rhianna's music growing up. Nice to see her back in the spotlight.
